QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Neutral
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Disagree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I believe in small government and individual rights all individual decisions remain with the individual when it is inside their bodies. Abortion is a medical procedure and the need for an abortion should be determined by the persons affected and their physician. I do no believe in abortion as routine birth control.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Religious beliefs cannot be regulated by the government. We cannot take our religion into congress or courtrooms to force them on the constituents, but must realize that the constitution has already provided for these freedoms which we must take an oath to uphold. Although I may be a Christian, the religions of the persons whom I will serve must also be respected and protected.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
As a nation it is imperative that we first get clarity on the threats that exist, then make agreements with allies that transfer from one Presidency to the next which can be adhered to. We must take all necessary measures to maintain our freedoms even when it means taking military action. As for the current condition in the US, as a woman of color, it is necessary that we address the continuing isolation of various races, religions and persons of various backgrounds within our borders, then address issues in foreign territories.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Disagree
I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Provide for medicaid expansion, for limited coverage to persons who may find themselves in a short term need for coverage. There must be a safety net in place, but it cannot be a permanent way of life or able-bodied individuals. We must understand the condition of persons needing help and offer a solution so they can realize independence, lowering the need for assistance. If injustice persists, we cannot reasonably expect equality to result. We must provide opportunities for everyone so the needs are unbiased.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Agree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
Focus on income equity, leading to an increase in the amount of money paid into the program, require diversity in investments and limit fraud.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
End support and/or any tax cuts for any company operating by using persons who are not generating income for our country; foreign affairs. Strengthen the home bases by bringing jobs back to America, and fostering strong domestic products sold to others.
Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?
When those taxpayers will benefit because the students will work in areas of high need and also when there is liability by our Department of Education.
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Disagree
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Agree
Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.
Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
We should allow; persons who add to the value of our country through providing skills not currently available, who have been separated from family members by force and who are victims of injustice in their own country and want to start a productive life in ours. We cannot patrol the world and rescue each person using our already overburdened social support system, when we cannot properly support the people already here. I support the curtailment of admission of refugees until we can properly provide for the persons who are already here and disenfranchised.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Several steps are needed, starting with research to understand gun violence. The President has allocated funding for research on the actual causes. I believe that we will find that the cause, and intelligently address the root of the problems which will likely lead to the prevailing problems faced today; income and racial inequality as well as a false sense of reality created through much misinformation.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.
Agree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Neutral
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Agree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
1. Legislation that saves and strengthens families, including access to better education, healthcare, training and job creation in livable, walkable, environmentally safe communities. 2. Farms- I will sponsor legislation to bail out farmers who are suffering and add new crops with higher margins. help lower their operating while providing incentives for younger farmers to enter the profession. 3. Freedom, support legislation that promotes protection of our constitutional rights protectio
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism divide the masses and stoke fear of one another. The current climate being allowed to permeate America is allowing the murder of groups of persons of color and this is not only dangerous, but terroristic. The United Nations conducted a study in the US in 2016 and found that the long history of domestic terrorism in the UNITED STATES warrants reparations. i
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I believe in small government and individual rights, protection of the 2nd amendment, that constitutional rights are of utmost importance and are inalienable to persons operating legally within the borders of the united states. The ability to be self-sufficient and provide for one's family is o utmost important. Families make the country stronger and a country without national defense and its own food supply is not a country. I beleive that the American dream must be made real for Americans first.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
Never.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I have worked diligently to rise above my circumstances and help others realize their potential. I am an advocate for local opportunity, local living focused on families, farms, freedoms and justice for all. Veterans cares will be addressed a a part of any relevant legislation. I grew up in a very rural town north of Pensacola, Florida and believe very strongly in the American dream. After attending college and becoming a Microbiologist at the University of Florida, I sought equal opportunities only to realize racism which caused me to move away from my family seeking opportunity in Washington, DC and Atlanta. I envision a nation in which persons can live, work and play near their family roots if they desire. Working as an entrepreneur, it was obvious that persons of lower income have less opportunities in all areas of life, work, justice, living, etc. I will sponsor legislation to create pathways which make it possible for every family to make the American Dream a reality
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Neutral
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Agree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian who believes in self sufficiency, small government and individual rights.
