QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
To save the life of the mother
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I am working on tax reform legislation to incent businesses to invest in their employees to assist in 1st time home purchases, debt retirement, and future education funds for children.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
The state should not interfere with our religious practices and there should never be a state sanctioned religion.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
I am wholeheartedly opposed to the COVID 19 vaccination mandates the Biden Administration is trying to force on the American people. Although I am vaccinated, the decision must be up to an individual and their physician with no government coercion whatsoever. Just like millions of other parents, I had my then school-aged children vaccinated with time-tested, proven vaccines for measles, mumps, rubella, etc.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
Medicaid and Medicare should remain available and federal policy should be directed at expanding private healthcare options, rather than limiting those as Obmacare has done. I am a strong supporter of expanding Associated Health Care plans, health savings accounts, direct primary care, and other innovative options that create more affordable and patient/doctor directed health care.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
The United States should protect our interests abroad when they are directly threatened but we should not be involved the world over in foreign conflicts. As a resolute supporter of Israel, I strongly believe in direct US investment in defense and military capabilities for our most important ally, and only functioning democracy in the Middle East.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
I have a long record opposing Islamic radicalism both domestically and abroad. Our nation must continue to invest in intelligence and military capabilities to eradicate radical Islamic threats that pose a danger to the United States. I also believe the nation who poses the greatest, existential threat to America is the communist Chinese regime. We must not fall behind the Chinese when it comes to next generation military capabilities we are seeing developed in cyberwarfare, satellite killing technology, hypersonic weaponry, or drone technology.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
We should adapt legal immigration policy to fit a merit-based system that ensures immigrants are those who best meet the workforce, research, education, or technology needs of our country.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a devout Christian and imperfect person who tries to live her life, every day, for the glory of God and his son Jesus Christ.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Voter identification must remain in place in order to vote and we should resist any attempt to federalize election laws. The Constitution provides that states are responsible for designing and running their own elections - we need to keep it that way. I am glad the State of Texas passed new voter integrity laws but I would also like to see more robust auditing practices put in place to ensure the sanctity of our elections. In 2020, during the middle of our election, a candidate was arrested while in the process of filling our fraudulent absentee ballots - proving, once again, fraud does occur in our elections and we must be constantly adapting to prevent elections from being tainted this way.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Our country should be celebrated for delivering more inclusion, opportunity, and freedom to more people here at home and around the world than any nation which has ever existed. I find attempts by the intolerant and extremist Left in the Democrat party to constantly inject racism into every issue absolutely disgraceful. The true domestic threat we have in America comes from radicalized organizations like Antifa and multi-national drug gangs and cartels who are presently empowered by Joe Biden's open border polices which are allowing in record amounts of deadly drugs and human trafficking.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
American technology, innovation, responsible energy development and the diversification of consumer use (particularly with electric vehicles) have made us a global leader in reducing emissions and ensuring our people enjoy clean air, water, and land. I am wholly opposed to environmental radicals who wish to use a hyper-regulatory regime to shut down American energy development and make us dependent on hostile foreign nations or energy sources which are incapable of meeting our critical baseload power needs. I believe we need to continue developing our God-given natural resources of oil, gas, and coal while also innovating to have cleaner power plants as well as additional sources like next generation nuclear plants.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
There are countless media reports which reference my unwavering conservative convictions. I'm proud to have been repeatedly endorsed by Texas Right to Life and other well-known Pro-Life, Pro-Liberty organizations.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I am running for reelection because there are tremendous opportunities for us to change the direction of our country and empower sustainable growth and opportunity to help millions of North Texans. During the past year, I have worked tirelessly as an advocate for conservative solutions as alternatives to the destructive policies Democrats are attempting to force on our country. President Biden has dragged our country from crisis to crisis - endangering Americans as he enriches drug cartels and human traffickers by opening our southern borders, destroying working families’ budgets with out-of-control inflation, halting the American economy with skyrocketing energy prices, clogged ports and crushed our supply chains. Rather than spending time on liberal pet projects we need a pragmatic, pro-jobs, pro-American family legislative agenda that respects our liberties and empowers our people with a stronger, more promising future.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
We must keep guns out of the hands of criminals. One of the greatest failings of District Attorneys in major urban areas is not fully prosecuting those who commit crimes while using a firearm. Instead, liberal judges and DAs are allowing these violent criminals out of jail and back into our neighborhoods where they are committing more crimes and victimizing vulnerable populations.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
