QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Never, unless mother is dying due to emergency situation.I was personally in this situation. I chose for my baby to live. God granted me my life as well.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

If Roe v. Wade is overturned by the US Supreme Court, how far are you willing to go to roll back North Carolina's statutory abortion law that allows abortion up to 20 weeks?

Would be willing to draft bill, sponsor bill and vote for bill

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Would you support a limitation on chemical abortion that protects women from taking abortion pills without the care and supervision of a qualified physician?

Yes

ECONOMY

The government should do more to close the gap between the working class and the wealthy.

Strongly Disagree

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

NC has cont’ to lower the personal income tax and corporate income tax and raised the taxable income level for Indigent families. Will hold comment on the Feds tax code. indigent families.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

According to the Constitution, each US citizen has the freedom to worship the religion of their choice. It was never intended that prayer could not be offered in a public meeting or that Bibles could not given out voluntarily by the Gideon’s. Our founding Father’s established our country based on the Bible” In God we Trust”

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Immunizations for communicable childhood disease that have been studied and developed and tested over 15-20 year periods in the confines of America have proven safely to eradicate small pox and polio. They have controlled measles and Rubella, diphtheria and tetanus.

EDUCATION

States should allow parents to use the Opportunity Scholarship Program to fund private school for their children.

Strongly Agree

In what situations does a parent not have the right to know what their child is being taught in public school?

Never

When should parents be restricted from speaking in school board meetings?

There should always be a public time period for parents to share their concerns and ideas.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I was saved when I was 9 years old. Jesus is my personal Savior and died for my sins on the Cross. By grace I am His Child and will be with Him in glory when I die if He Doesn’t rapture me first. I am a conservative who believes in life at conception, Ps. 139, Pro 2A, against socialism, for family first, for Freedoms based on the US Constitution.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

We need voter ID, we need to all vote on Election Day. Absentee Ballots should turned no later than Sat. before Election Day and only for military abroad, travelers aboard, hospital/long term care patients, sick at home w Dr. request. It worked for hundreds of years.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

The threat to the US Security is ineffective border control. Racism as a word is not a threat but the WOKE movement is. Defunding law enforcement, no respect for our laws and not keeping our borders secure is a threat to our security. The current Administration is a threat to our domestic security.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

We are all responsible for maintaining our economy that is not so over regulated that it cannot produce jobs and a sound economy and at the same time we need to be good stewards of ourUnited States. of America and leave it better than we found it fir future generations.

I am a Registered Nurse and have spent a lifetime serving others. My constituents are like my patients, I care for each one with respect and use my skill set to meet their needs to the best of my ability. I love the opportunity to bring a Christian conservative perspective to the House. I am very concerned about the high suicide rate among teenagers, I am very concerned about the liberal agenda that is being taught in our state supported colleges and universities.I am very concerned about the increasing status of people choosing not to work and the effect it is having on our small businesses and our over all economy.
