Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.
God, Voters, Constitution, Congress (I put voters before the Constitution because the people established the Constitution, through which they grant limited power to Congress and the rest of the government.)
19. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Jesus Christ is the incarnate Son of God. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. All who govern will answer to Him for how they govern. He is the only means of salvation for sinners by his crucifixion and Resurrection. He will return to judge the world and claim His people and establish His eternal Kingdom. He gives His Holy Spirit to live in His people, assuring them of the truth of the Bible and strengthening them in every opportunity and difficulty. The Bible is the written Word of God. Since Jesus is the living Word, the entire Bible is His message to us, not just the New Testament. All of our thinking and way of living should be based upon the truth of the Scriptures. Science should be evaluated by the Word of God, not the other way around. Any theology that contradicts the Bible is false. We are bound to obey God over men who would countervene His law. All must be free to believe and worship as they choose, as coming to Christ must be a free choice.
