I have a BS degree from University of Tennessee Chattanooga (1985). I have a Masters of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary (1989). I have pastored Sunrise Church for 23 years. I ran for office unsuccessfully in 2000. I was on the Board of Orange Charter School for 2 years 1999 & 2000 I am now seeking the NC House 50 seat. I have experienced the rewards and blessings of a traditional work ethic. From the age of 14 until 17 I worked pulling tobacco in the fields of Halifax, Virginia which allowed me to pay my own way to attend Danville Christian High School. I worked in the textile mill, at Champion International, at Red Food warehouse in Chattanooga, Tennessee while attending college. In 1988 & 1989 while obtaining my Masters degree, I worked for the NBA's Dallas Mavericks.
