I do not believe racism is a threat to domestic security in and of itself. There are those who try to make it a divisive issue including the far left and race baiters in the mainstream media, but I strongly believe at our core we are not a racist nation.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
My wife Marie and I celebrated our 50th Wedding anniversary this past January. She is a rock-solid Christian woman who I would not trade for anyone or anything else in this world. I have many legislative priorities that will continue to grow our economy and help all of our citizens attain a greater degree of self-reliance by creating more opportunities for all, while ensuring we have a safety net for those who have fallen between the cracks. I am a strong advocate for prison reform and want to continue to have the opportunity in the General Assembly to lead those efforts.
