Courage- During the last of my 5 deployments, I led the Afghan Peace and Reintegration Program where I conducted liaison work with local civilian officials and facilitated negotiations with insurgents to resolve root-cause issues and bring peace to individual communities. We absolutely need Compassionate, Courageous, and Capable leaders in Olympia.
