The three most important legislative issues of most concern are government accountability to the rule of law, federal court efforts to interpret the law, and the economy. The rule of law protects all interests equally. Unfortunately, there have been exception of immunity to government actors placing some people above the law and beyond reproach by the population. This immunity was first created by the US Supreme Court which views citizens as subjects of an imperial government instead of as the source of government authority. This elite perspective has evolved into the government modifying social behavior and controlling every aspect of its citizen's lives, through the direction of special interests. Special interests have further abused our monetary system, our economy, which will soon fail through bursting cash bubbles, corporate tax avoidance, and ever increasing political spending.
15. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?
Abortion is not an issue that affects social stability and is outside the domain of federal government function, being based on a persons beliefs, ethics, and morality. Since government is not ethical or moral, it should not use authority borrowed from all citizens to control the behavior of those who do not agree with other people's beliefs. Hence government should not take a side on Sharia law, marriage, social equity, or abortion although government may recognize their existence.
