Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I am a pro-life advocate and believe life starts at conception. Abortion is a from of murder and special consideration should be considered under extremely rare life saving circumstances where the health of the expectant mother is severely impacted.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
This is a constant threat throughout the world. Unfortunately, there is no "magic bullet" solution. Containing Islamic terrorism involves three complementary approaches. First countries which allow it to flourish internally and routinely export terrorists need to be quarantined, cut off from the rest of the world that lives in the 21st century. Second, we need a revitalized CIA which will be much more effective in infiltrating and monitoring terror organizations around the globe. Finally, we need top quality police work here in the US. Remember that 9/11 happened in part because leads were not followed up after field agents detected suspicious activities. We need coordinated, thorough police work from the FBI on down to the cop on the beat and we have to keep in mind every day that stopping terror is a 24/7 job. Al Queda and ISIS operatives have shown them- selves to be very patient. We can't let our guard down. Ever.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The premise and purpose behind the separation and limited powers was to protect our citizenry from government overreaching. The Bill of Rights was penned specifically to protect us from intrusions when too much power might become concentrated in one place or person. The Founders knew that power corrupts. They had seen this again and again in Great Britain and other monarchies. The people's safety is preserved by power structures which are diffuse and divided, each checking the others.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I was raised in a Catholic home and attended Our Lady of Mercy up to the 5th grade. I was an alter boy for several years and felt God's presence in my life at an early age. I gave my life to Christ when my daughter was born in 1994 and have kept Christ in my heart ever since. The holy word is my guide and road map through life. With that comes my commitment to live my life with God as my center doing my best to stay true and on "the path". I am aware of secular challenges placed on me but I do believe strongly that God can work through public servants and we open to forgiveness as God was willing to forgive us. Open to be forgiving is the critical word. As Christ is in our lives, we need to be the beacon of light and not judge.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
As a candidate for US Senator most of these issues I must speak to. Regarding economic policy, my position is Social Matters I strongly believe, the office of senate must rise to the standard of decency and Foreign Policy, needs to reviewed and continually revised to meet the Social Political. Immigration is needing reform starting with enforcing the laws that currently exist. Sanctuary States and Cities are in violation of our existing laws thus must be held accountable. Collaboration between state and federal government is a must.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
This is my specialty. I have over 30 years in healthcare and knows what works but more importantly what doesn't. Universal healthcare when designed by industry professionals may work and mat have the desired results using the best in industry models. The Medicare System works well and can be modified to include age ranges for complete coverage. We have found the dichotomy between best practices, insurance payers, ancillary services however most of the cost and inefficiencies can and will be addressed/corrected with the right leadership and technologies. I have many ideas on how to modify our existing healthcare coverages to bring us closer to universal healthcare. Albeit, those that can afford private insurance should not be required nor penalized for not being party to this type of healthcare. We are a free market society and must remain so to protect our liberties.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Less government means a happier economy. We are plagued with a growing jumble of regulations that have squelched the prosperity of our economy. Over the past couple of centuries, market based economies have consistently outperformed planned economies. A marketplace full of active, intelligent competitors always thinks more clearly than a room full of bureaucrats with statistics, projections and political agendas. Government does have a limited role in making certain that everyone plays by the same rules and, through the Federal Reserve and the Treasury, in keeping interest rates and the money supply in line with reasonable growth objectives. Otherwise, government just gets in the way. The worst thing government can do is to try to pick winners and losers in new fields such as green energy. Of course, government's biggest role of all is not spending and taxing its citizens into a fiscal coma. Wise taxation promotes prosperity by reducing transactional friction.
What changes should be made to the tax code?
Deep review of the current tax reform and increasing tax deductions, credits, reductions for the middle class. Create incentives and tax deductions for retraining those who have lost employment over the past decade. Trade school grants focusing on technology, computer science and innovative industries also make sense. These are the no-brainers. Beyond these obvious changes, we need a tax structure which does not reward corporations for offshoring jobs, investments and retained earnings. We need reforms that seriously help working and middle class families to build wealth for both investment and ultimately retirement. Our current jumble of 401, 527 and IRA plans is fraught with traps and turns many people away by its sheer complexity. Why should you have to be-- or hire-- a financial wizard to build a modest nest egg for your family? Our current codes discourage people from being fiscally prudent and that has to stop.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Provide more opportunities in promoting as well as offering grants and low interest loans so budding entrepreneurs may start new businesses thus offering employment opportunities. I personally have experienced unemployment during my career and am grateful for good friends and God to give me the resources to manage through those times of uncertainty. More employment through creating more business. We have to consider tax holidays, incentives, deductions for start up companies, innovative technologies, companies that expand into international offerings increasing our GNP. Our tax code should handsomely reward research and development. Most importantly, we need to tackle the obscene cost of education which both discourages our young people from pursuing the skills we need as a nation, and also burdens them with piles of debt that pull down large swaths of our economy.
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
We will bolster funding for our elderly in Social Security benefits as well as Medicare. America's elder population are the Nation's Treasures and will be treated with dignity and respect. Many nations treat their elderly as such and it is a crime that we as a free nation are not more supportive of those that brought us into this world. My father is 95 now and to this day is my hero. I want all those in that generation and those that are approaching retirement to know that one of my missions is to see that they will be cared for as they care for us over the years. But all the actuaries and economists tell us that Social Security and Medicare will both run out of funds in less than a generation. We have to look for ways now to improve the long term fiscal health of these programs without compromising benefits for current retirees. This should still be feasible with minor adjustments in retirement age for younger workers and minor changes in tax support for these programs.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
My degrees are Masters in business as well as international business and policy. I have over 30 years experience as a senior executive in several industries giving me the skill sets to lead effectively in multicultural entities mirroring the current governmental structure. Having been in the trenches of American Business, I know how to successfully lead diverse teams to achieving our mission goals on or before deadlines and under budget. This experience and success is desperately needed in government seeing all of which hasn't been achieved for many years in our nation. Leadership skills are not enough to be successful these days and having hands on experience in most of the areas that we are responsible brings more value and accountability.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
My degrees are Masters in business as well as international policy. I have over 30 years experience as a senior executive in several industries giving me the skill sets to lead effectively in multicultural entities. On the other hand, perhaps my most important qualification is the fact that I have never been a professional politician. I have always worked in industries which provided real services or real products for people. I have never traded in hollow promises. Moreover, I have worked in many kinds of jobs with all types of people. I've never hesitated to take on a job which did not involve wearing a suit and tie. I've worked in blazing sun and freezing winds. I have never found honest work which was below me. I have been grateful for every paycheck since I was a kid. Perhaps my most important qualification is this-- in a long career, working in many cities in many wildly different kinds of jobs, I have never met a person I couldn't learn something from.
