QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
The use of tax funds should be allocated to programs that benefit all citizens.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Disagree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
In extreme cases the life of the mother but only with her consent.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Disagree
Growth over redistribution of income is favored by both conservatives and liberals. In a "Free Market" economy this redistribution of income would increase taxes overall, increase job losses, which would add to the national deficit. This would start an economic war against the 160 million strong middle class (Supply Side Economics-Laffer Curve).
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Agree
This is one of the critical responsibilities of government. Fiscal stewardship is an essential requirement for all elected officials.
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I agree with the FY2022 Budget Executive Summary: https://rsc-banks.house.gov/reclaimingourfiscalfuture
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
Without question. The separation of church and state are the essential protections to keep government out of our religious institutions.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
"The separation of church and state does not mean a separation of moral reasoning from public policy. Such a goal would be futile. The process of lawmaking is moral by its very nature. A law is instituted because of an ought. This ought to be done because of such and such, or this ought not to be done. The government’s use of coercion would lack any justification without a moral foundation behind the laws which it enforces. We understand that government ought to be secular in the sense that it does not favor one religion over another. Nor should it favor religion above nonreligion (or vice versa). Yet, a government that seeks to use secular moral reasoning alone will soon find itself adrift amid the sea of ever-changing public opinion. A transcendent moral law is needed which can ground the human and political rights that we cherish today." Neal Hardin-The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission is an entity of the Southern Baptist Convention.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
There are no circumstances in which vaccination should be required. Informed consent must be upheld and protected.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
B
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
B and C
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Closely monitor threats through existing agencies and allied sources, intervene only when known and verified threats are determined.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Agree
Along with electronic monitoring and surveillance systems.
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Agree
Sanctuary cities and states promote unlawful behavior. Immigration reform has been kicked down the road for too long and must be addressed. The rise is drug, sex and child trafficking has increased as a result of sanctuary policies.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Everyone should have the opportunity to immigrate to the U.S. but lawfully.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Disagree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Christian, Catholic upbringing and a strong relationship with God.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Voter ID is critical to ensure the integrity of our elections. This has been one of the most critical issues facing our elections. Proper identity verification must be a minimum in fair, transparent and honest elections.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Voter ID required. No mail in ballots except for military stationed outside the US and those that have requested them meeting requirements, no ballot harvesting, updated voter rolls, calibration and certification of all election hardware and software as per NIST and HAVA requirements, open access to all election technology for audit purposes, instituting standardized signature verification,
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
There isn't any empirical evidence supporting the general benefit to the consensus, ethnic communities and taxpayers.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is inherent in all ethnicities. One naturally favors their own race over a race they are accustomed to or familiar with. There are races that practice ideologies that are a threat to national security and are being addressed and monitored for the protections of our nation.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
Clean, environmentally friendly fracking is being used today. Through technology advances this practice is being perfected and we should promote innovation and technologies that offer these benefits.
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
Redirecting funds or defunding the police has "hand cuffed' our law enforcement agencies putting public safety and welfare at risk. Crime rates have soared since many cities have implemented defunding measures. The pragmatic solution is to increase funding for the best training and equipment.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
We have many restrictions in place that need to be reviewed and evaluated.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Disagree
Comparative analogy to this topic would be victims of vehicle violence should be able to sue car dealers and manufacturers
