QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

It is the women choice and laws on medical privacy should ensure her privacy. I am a firm believer the Women should have a right to choose and that no man should rule or think that they have a right to rule over women.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Neutral

all drugs should meet safety standards. It is a patience choice to allow a gathering of evidence. Medical privacy must be upheld.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Disagree

Planned Parenthood provide many medical services as well as educational information. Through the efforts of Planned Parenthood, abortions dropped by 30% in the past 15 years.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Neutral

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Agree

What is your position on the minimum wage?

With the increases in the cost of living, the minimum wage has to naturally increase.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

Yes

this may depend on the circumstances. The ratings could bring light to areas that maybe over looked. It if is used to segregate an area or give more attention to one culture over another could be unethical. So we can only hope our government uses this to help communities and not work against them.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

It is no longer a freedom of speech when it poses a clear and present danger.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Agree

To date there is high discrimination against the LGTBQ community. It has gotten so out of hand that political parties attack schools and children. In the 1960s there was similar actions taken against the Black community. We cannot support discrimination in any fashion.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

B Healthcare should be provide to everyone, but should not be forced and anyone should be allowed options. I do believe that the current health care program can be expanded and improved.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

during a pandemic where millions could die. In the 2020 Pandemic, 6.8 million people died worldwide.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

I did a study in National Security and Intelligence and it showed that the CCP has conducted the highest amount of espionage against the US.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Every ally the US has is important. But, I believe that the problems Israel is facing should be handled by the Arab Union of Nations and the UN.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

A good start to securing the border would be to pass President Bidens immigration bill. That bill improves many areas that have been addressed for the past 5 years. That would provide a good start, and then it could be Amended and improved.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Disagree

This would take funds from Public School. I strongly support our Public Schools and Higher Education. If people want to fund religious schools, that should be done through private investors, not through tax dollars.

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Neutral

We need to do what we can to protect kids from abuse as well as discrimination.

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Agree

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Disagree

a marriage is a bond between two people.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a firm believer of freedom of religion. My religion is Christian Science. I do not believe that religion should ever consider the law of the land. Millions fled countries to get away from religious persecution and we cannot go back to those horrific times.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Neutral

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Neutral

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

It is a very big factor. Former President Trump called immigrants rapist, child molesters and drug runners. He consistently talked poorly about Mexicans and immigrants and dehumanized them. Racism under Trump has increase toward the Latino community. The propaganda that the NGOP spread around about our school put children and the LGTBQ community at risk. Segregating a culture and spreading support for discrimination creates a security problem.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Neutral

This isn't what CRT says. Critical Race Theory theorizes that people are treated different because of race. In US history, that can be proven with the slave trade, the civil war, how the Civil Rights has been advanced, Black people gaining the right to vote, the right to work, the right attend public schools, and equal pay.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Neutral

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

D

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

solar and geothermal

No

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Moderate

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Neutral

it would not be wise to take funds that are supposed to go to the police department and divert it for other uses. It would depend on what is available and the budget.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Must be 21 years old to buy a gun or to buy ammunition. Gun safety courses should be taught on a regular basis.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
