OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

1. Free enterprise and the right to private property turn mankind's natural self interest into the fairest and most productive economic system there is, and are the key to national prosperity.

Strongly Agree

2. It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health care and a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

3. The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

Strongly Agree

4. Government should enforce laws designed to protect the border and to prevent illegal entry of persons into the country.

Strongly Agree

5. The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) should be repealed by Congress.

Strongly Agree

6. Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

7. Marriage is a union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

8. Efforts to bring Islamic law (shariah) to America do not pose a threat to our country and its Constitution.

Strongly Disagree

9. Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

10. Governments should pay to develop wind and solar energy solutions when these are not economically feasible.

Strongly Disagree

11. More restrictive gun control laws are needed now to protect public safety.

14. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

Greed and corruption are inescapable realities of the human condition. The best defense against these is to assure that no one branch of government can exercise unlimited power. This is the genius of our founding fathers in establishing the “Separation of Powers”. Sadly a cowardly Congress and a bully President are now abandoning this safeguard to our liberty!

15. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION is a critical issue because it impacts so many aspects of our society. The cost in social programs, lost revenue, and criminal justice is enormous. Underlying these costs is the culture of lawlessness that is promoted by allowing the hiring of illegals without serious risk of any sanctions. We need to close the borders FIRST,anything less is a scam! IMPERIAL PRESIDENCY The abuse of authority from the current President threatens our system of checks and balances in our Constitution. Without those safeguards a President becomes our ruler, not our servant. Congressional action to reassert its Constitutional authority is essential to preserve our Republic. OBAMACARE The issue of the day but is just the logical result of a government unmoored from the restrictions of the Constitution. Obamacare needs to be defunded in the short term and repealed in the long term. We do not need well intentioned good managers of Big Government, we need smaller smaller govt.

16. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

Abortion ends a human life at any time after conception therefore it should only be lawful under the gravest of circumstances such as REAL danger to the life of the mother, rape or incest.

17. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Constitution, Voters, Congress, Supreme Court

18. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a born again Bible believing Christian. I am proud to admit that my faith informs my public policy opinions. I believe our Founding Fathers followed the same spiritual light when drafting our Declaration and Constitution. I believe firmly in the First Amendment which was designed to SHIELD believers from government persecution. Sadly it is now being used as a SWORD to attack people of faith.
