I have always been a co-sponsor of the Heart Beat Bill and will continue to support the pro-life agenda.

Man's fallen nature and history's numerous examples of the corruption of those in power.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in one God,Father,I Son and Holy Spirit creator of all things. I was raised in a Christian home where I was taught the importance of faith, family and the love of God. I have continued my Christian journey with this same foundation of faith.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

It is my position, reducing government red tape (getting government out of the way) will, in itself, stimulate new business creating new jobs. Obviously, this is just one way.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

With the implementation of the "Affordable Care Act" the cost of health insurance skyrocketed (what usually happens when government takes control of an industry). There are several ideas being vetted. Allowing for sales across state lines being one.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Basically, reducing government red tape, getting out of the way of private enterprise, letting the free market work.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I am currently serving in my third term, running for my fourth and final term in the Ohio House. Currently serving on the Finance Committee, Ways and Means Committee and Chairman of the Transportation and public Safety Committee. Additionally, I have extensive prior local government experience serving as the County Auditor and County Recorder in my home county, as well as private sector experience in construction, manufacturing and retail.
