RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
The name is misleading. Planned Parenthood has very little to do with family planning. It does a little bit of treatment for sexually transmitted diseases but not much prevention and most of what it does is surgical abortion. It's a very painful treatment that can cause serious problems like bleeding and infection that may only be treatable by a hospital admission. Many hospitals are reluctant to grant admitting privileges to the abortion providers. No federal funds for abortion.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Medical personnel should be free to exercise their conscience rights and if these practices are given the force of law, someone who refuses to provide the services may be guilty of medical malpractice. Physician assisted suicide PAS exposes vulnerable cohorts like teenagers and the mentally ill who may be victimized. No born alive child should be left to die or killed. Flat line EEG means the brain is already dead and that organs for transplant can be ethically harvested.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
It should never be a primary intention but it may be a secondary consequence of a medical action. For example, if a uterine cancer is removed during pregnancy, the gestation may end as a secondary consequence. The primary intention was treatment of the cancer by surgical intervention. Similarly, an ectopic pregnancy may result in a treatable medical condition like bleeding. Stopping the bleeding may end the fetal life as a secondary consequence but not as a primary intention. Surgical abortion can cause a great deal of injury to the uterine cervix. The younger and greener the cervical tissue, the more likely it is to be damaged. The opening or cervical os can become permanently dilated making miscarriage in subsequent desired pregnancies more likely. The treatment is cervical cerclage and it's a special stitching that acts like a drawstring to try and keep the cervical os closed to buy some time for fetal development but lots of women have miscarried many times even with the cervical cerclage stitches in place. Many other women give birth prematurely because of the damage to their cervixes from surgical abortions of previous pregnancies and the neonatal intensive care units are full of the little peanuts that will fit into the palm of your hand. These children are especially vulnerable to cerebral palsy and respiratory problems because of the interruption of their intrauterine development during organogenesis. Post abortion syndrome PAS is an emotional, social and perceptual disorder which afflicts many women as a result of abortion. It can appear that the woman is depressed, mentally ill or on drugs, but it's really PAS. Many babies are born alive during abortions and a born alive child has a right to full medical care. Born alive babies should not be left to die. Rape is or sexual assault should not be a death sentence for an unborn child. Punish the criminal not the child and treat the victim of the violent crime, but don't makes things worse with an abortion that may make it impossible for the woman to give birth when a child is wanted. Adoption is a great option for unwanted pregnancies. Consumption related disorders like drug and alcohol addiction may injure the developing fetus causing spectral disorders like fetal alcohol syndrome, etc. These conditions are all first, preventable, and second, treatable and should not be a rationale for abortion. Gestational nutritional counseling for the mother should be available and a gestational nutritionist consulted to properly form fetal metabolism. Metabotrophic compounds like sugar among many others consumed by the mother can activate genes in the developing fetus that predispose to consumption related disorders like obesity. 95% of the brain mass is formed during gestation and organogenesis continues until age 18. Receptors formed during gestation can predispose the person to afflictions like drug addiction. These are reasons for women's healthcare to include reproductive medicine but not abortion. Amniocentesis and other prenatal studies like ultrasound may identify malformations or indicators of a possible defect such as spina bifida, but these tests should never lead to an abortion. Instead, fetal medicine should be advanced to improve the quality of life of patients, and no patient should ever be intentionally harmed.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
One social science measure of distribution of wealth is the Gini coefficient and it's pretty low in the United States meaning that the difference between the richest and the poorest is low. The bell shaped curve is very narrow with most people in the middle so that the mean, median and mode closely approximate one another. Two standard deviations from the mean or average on both sides of the bell shaped curve are pretty close together, the curve is very steep so it's almost a monoculture.
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Disagree
The deficit can be reduced by cutting spending but the debt has to be repaid. Consider selling or leasing assets like Nat'l Parks, interstates, etc. The income might come from a source like electricity but that takes massive amounts of energy like molten lava inside a volcano like Yellowstone for geothermal energy. The income might come from an economic paradigm like Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency or inflation adjusted directed currency for globalization.
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Taxes support the three levels of government: federal, state and local. Property taxes support local governments and the things that they do like policing and education. State government often taxes income like the federal government and many states have a sales tax. Some support a federal sales tax, especially if it reduces income taxes. The national government has a progressive federal income tax structure so as you move up in the tax brackets you pay a higher percentage of your income as income taxes. President Ronald Reagan proposed reducing the highest brackets which were around 70% because the economy had higher than normal inflation and interest rates were high. Home mortgage rates were around 12% or higher. The economy is divided into sectors with two sectors: finance and housing leading all others, anything that improved the performance of these two sectors would carry all other sectors like transportation along an upward path. The highest brackets were reduced to around 40% which freed up money for investment. The increase in the supply of money lowered interest rates and the housing sector boomed. Airlines were deregulated and sky marshals were removed lowering the airline ticket price. Business boomed. Unfortunately, terrorists seized the opportunity during 911. It's a delicate formula but each sector can be maximized cautiously and new sectors can be added like genetics, space travel, high speed rail, etc. Models can predict what changes will be safe. I know that money put into the economy is invested so taxes should be reduced when money is used wisely. The money given to the government as taxes is not invested in the economy. If more people voted with their dollars by putting them back into the economy instead of paying them in taxes, the nation, the states and communities would benefit from stronger families, better healthcare, less crime, etc. Democrats are often called tax and spend liberals because they favor an entitlement mentality which takes money away from building wealth in the economy.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
Over one half of the Founding Fathers were seminary graduates and religious freedom was very important to them. Today, religious liberty is taken for granted and many people don't use their rights. It needs to be protected. Liberals often see religion as causing violence and discrimination so they want freedom from religion. Religious speech is considered hateful by many Democrats.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Civil order should always prevail. Freedom should not incite violence and injury. It's up to the businesses and individuals who they serve and if moral and religious beliefs are being violated the law should allow opting out.
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
Many of the Founding Fathers and their successors actively promoted the Bible, a library of religious writings because they believed that the authors were inspired by God and that the scriptures were God breathed. Over half of the Founders were seminary graduates and they wanted to use foreign policy to promote the coming of the kingdom of God and project their social order from where religious freedoms were abundant to societies where tolerance was not the watchword. Beyond their national goal of feeding the world with scientific farming, they wanted to reach the world for their eternal king Jesus Christ and to consider other men and women as their brothers and sisters adopted by God the father as siblings of Jesus Christ the son of God into eternal life as immortal human beings after the resurrection of the dead. They were spiritually adopted themselves and wanted to share their theophilia, the love of God with their fellow man and woman and to love them properly with agape love and open the door to filial love and friendship. Their intention was to offer more abundant life to everyone around the world. The state formed for collective security was charged with domestic tranquility and quiet domestic life was seen as the product of religious liberty. Marriage was the foundation for a relationship between God, two people and a community who were all committed to the incarnation of immortal souls. Their duty as a State was to the souls of their fellow men and women. That sense of duty of the State to human beings is lacking today. The church is the mythical body of Jesus and each Christian is part of the body. Some are hands, some are feet. One is an eye, another an ear and one is a mouth. You might be a red blood cell, or a white blood cell, a neutrophil or even a platelet. All parts are required for abundant life. The state is a social organization that is called the government. Should it promote the church like it did back in the day of its establishment? I think that the federal government should create conditions where the Bible is exported as foreign policy and encourage Christianity. I for one am a Christian who has been introduced to the person of the Holy Spirit by Jesus Christ. He sent me the para cleat as he promised to in his word, the holy Bible so I have reassurance of eternity with God and his believers so I am biased enough to see things the way that most of Founding Fathers did. I think that the state should actively promote the church and protect other believers. Many people who have lived lives of conscience but never been Christians will be justified by their consciences. What a wonderful gift for America to give to the world; assurance of eternal life with one another in God's presence. Let's actively pursue this together and in the process go after those who persecute our brothers and sisters who justified by conscience or faith deserve our protection and advocacy. The state has a lot to offer as freedom including economic development and dispute resolution in an increasingly complex global society. Our fathers saw the United Nations as a tangible projection of their faith onto the global community. Let's promote their paradigm to a whole nother level. Peace and prosperity are within easy reach. Agriculture is the basis of every economy so let's get back to the basics of feeding the world with scientific farming and let's embrace the expansion of the paradigm by Lincoln's generation to industrial agriculture through education and engineering and let's add the latest advances in science like genetics and biochemistry by promoting the informational technology and energy that makes it all possible. It is prudent to recognize providence and it's serendipity or chance that favors prepared minds. Let's promote the global economy by today making a space for every player to prosper in, a space where people meet and mutually benefit and within this space the church will flourish, one body in Christ that is preserved, protected and defended by the state. The last command of Jesus was to buy a sword because he was leaving Earth and leaving his followers as sheep among wolves. Let's turn plow shares into swords going forward and seize the millenium.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Respiratory infections are dose and route dependent. Droplets carry the number of infecting particles, the dose. The route is the mucous membranes of the mouth, throat and lungs. The higher the dose and the deeper the route, the closer to the lungs the particle land, the stronger the infection. Herd immunity develops naturally. Immunization with vaccines can reduce the incidence of infections. Vaccines can have negative side effects including death. People should be free to choose not to risk the negative side effects of vaccines. I recommend vaccines but not for everyone. Risk assessment makes it inadvisable for some. Only the Armed Forces should be able to order you to get vaccinated. The other entities should only issue a directive to be evaluated for suitability for vaccination and that cost should be paid by the issuer of the directive. Liability for adverse outcomes should be shared by the entity and public legal services made available to the harmed parties at the expense of the entity. In the case of a military order, the Judge Advocate General JAG should play this role. In case of martial law, vaccination could be mandatory but only if administered by the Armed Forces and all responsibly should fall on the government in control of the military. Similar circumstances apply to any scenario in which veterinary medicine is called upon in cases of zoonotic infections that may spread to humans. It could be prudent to use lethal means of mass destruction in cases of migrating animals like birds and these lethal means should be developed and ready to use. State alliances called bio alliances should be formed to facilitate early detection and isolation of outbreaks of infectious diseases knowing that not all zoonoses are treatable. Monoclonal antibody therapeutics should be stockpiled and the ability to rapidly produce clones of antibody genes should be developed. Means of rapid deployment of the antibodies should be developed with global capabilities. The vaccines and antibodies should be available to anyone who wants them within reasonable limits.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
Federal health insurance already exists. Private pay health insurance cannot replace it.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
We must carefully exaamine which fighters are supported and if determine what hills to die on. We must fight for Democracy around the world and support fledgling governments with diplomatic means and economic development. Bread and circuses will keep the masses contented. Areas of greatest tension are often the most strategic and I can think of no more worthy regions than the Mediterranean middle east and Eastern Europe. By investing the greatest amount of diplomacy and economic development in these two regions we can buy a little time but the competition is becoming intense and eventually we will come to blows. More lethal means will be employed against us as the conflict widens probably by proxy wars that provide the perpetrators with an excuse or with plausible deniability. Think hypersonic cruise missiles, smart bombs at mach 26 that change deterrence strategy from mutually assured self destruction to winner take all. We need nuclear treaties now to protect the future while we own it. Someone else can break the rules after we're done, probably alliances of those whom we offend in the process.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
We are going to see a big push back against China and Russia in Syria and I think that effectively Israel will have it's northern border on the Euphrates River. Sometimes the best defense is a good offense. The UN will be involved and I hope that its headquarters are moved to the border between Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia or Gaza. The riparian states that surround these players will be major players in lasting peace.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
China sees us as both friend and foe. We came to their assistance in WWII and then occupied Korea and Vietnam in their sphere of influence. They want us out of Korea and I think that we should withdraw to Alaska as part of a major redirection in the UN.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Sharing the truth about God is the only way to change things. Repent, change your way of thinking and be welcome in the Christian Church and brothers and sisters in Christ. Be baptized and receive the Holy Spirit. It's the same god and it's the monotheism that they are used to. It should be an easy lateral move and it will keep women in the highest esteem because Mary was a virgin. Economic development will reduce tensions and aggression will be unlearned.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
We should defend both sides of the border and I think we need to consider reestablishing civil order in some of the Mexican states where the drug cartels are in control. Economic development will keep people in Mexico and many illegal immigrants will return. As these alliances with the military development, these workers will prove to be invaluable in revitalizing our military infrastructure.
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
You have to play by the federal rules. State and local governments are by definition subordinate and you can't condone the violation of federal laws.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Anyone should be eligible but who in reality will be able to? The entrepreneur in possession of inflation adjusted electronic currency will always be able to move laterally and take their wealth globally. I think that they should consider agriculture and energy as they relocate and finance, real estate and industry deserve their consideration. These relationships can be developed intentionally and the wealth gerrymandered into conservative districts where they can vote with their dollars. Kind of a big fish in a small pond type of situation. We certainly don't want to see liberals bring in a bunch of their cronies. Immigration law changed in the mid 60s and now an immigrant can bring immediate family members too. Immigration is playing a brain drain game but even well qualified candidates are waiting fifteen years to enter. We need to make a paradigm shift of 180 degrees and think about forming intentional communities with emigration. We should form our society with the goal of leaving the country for other global communities and have mobile electronic wealth that we can take when we go. I think the currency could be adjusted for inflation and made to move only in two directions not laterally and your dollar might be worth a dollar and ten cents somewhere else but only for a few years. The directed currency would be in very high demand and would explode into a hypercurrency like Bitcoin. People could move globally and have their money in the bank and even refugees would be secure monetarily.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Gender is a social role play different from biological sex. It's usually pretty obvious but sexual orientation is usually concealed. Application of nondiscrimination laws will cause great harm and not protect the intended citizens.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
The institutions of the government are not inherently racist but CRT says that some races have benefited historically at the expense of others and that's probably true. Europeans continue to exploit the neighboring continents.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
See the question about the relationship between church and state.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
In fact, ID cards are not sufficient because like mail in ballots, they can be counterfeited. A fail proof system should be developed and mail in ballots discontinued until the new system is implemented.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Eliminate mail in ballots in the federal election until the system is as fool proof as possible. Use forensic methods to determine which ones are counterfeit and use fingerprints and biometrics including genetic fingerprinting to identify voters. NO PAPER BALLOTS.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Some laws already favor some races. For example, native Americans have special laws to guarantee education and employment. Maybe these could suggest a direction to go forward with the development of models of computer based decision making. The future belongs to the best algorithms.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is the assumption that one race is superior to another or to all others and that other races are inferior. This can lead to biased behavior like discrimination which is generally considered wrong. Both sides are frustrated and aggression can result in violence which can escalate into a threat to the US Constitution especially as Article 4 section 4 applies to domestic tranquility and it's absence or domestic violence. Riots can become massacres both of which can become existential threats to the federal government.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
I also support the use of solutions other than water and salt water in fracking. I support the development of designer molecules and enzymes to make fracking more effective. I think that the residues of all extraction methods should be handled carefully and that ground water and surface water should be protected.
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
Stricter laws may not be within the realm of possibility. The laws we already have may need to be applied more judiciously. In matters of public safety, I think that we need to make some updates. Many of the safety features built back in the 70s are worn out and need to be replaced.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
I think abortion is a poor choice of birth control measures and I suggest that the Creighton and symptothermal methods be used but it's also relational between men and women. Sexual dimorphism has always been the norm for societies to promote population growth. I think we need to welcome more citizens in through birth and think gender should be adjusted accordingly. We need a kid friendly and woman friendly society.
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Ok, sorry I didn't have the time and money to do more. I'm sure that I offended a lot of people here.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
My highest priority is peace and economic prosperity especially in the middle east and eastern Europe. The UN can promote this goal best if it's relocated to the border between Israel, Egypt and Gaza or Saudi Arabia. We have to push back against our adversaries in Syria and rebuild the border with Turkey and we have a strong military ally in the Kurdish regions. The waters of the Euphrates can flow through the Dead Sea into the Negev desert. Saudi, Israeli, Jordanian and Syrian territories will explode economically from the economic expansion. New cities will emerge and old ones will expand and divide. Information technology, molecular engineering and transportation and energy systems will rapidly advance. Fresh water management will promote peace beyond the region and new cities will be established. The infrastructure will be developed for sustainable long term growth. I also want to see the national fatality rate from motor vehicle accidents decrease and I want to help the American Indians preserve their culture including the wild mustang. The population genetics have been relatively undisturbed for 500 years.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Choose not to answer
Need to buy a lifeline because I don't understand the question. I defer to the party platform and the majority of the district's Republican constituents until I have enough time to think for myself.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
The highest rate of police fatalities is in domestic violence investigations. I think that a lot of these calls can benefit from a team approach which may involve social workers and medical professionals because they often involve drugs and alcohol.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Forensic science can be used to deter the criminal use of weapons as it is already but it can be perfected to make it virtually impossible to get away with a gun crime.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
Obviously if someone breaks the law they can be sued but you shouldn't sue them if they are obeying the law.
