16. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

Our founders recognized the true nature of man, and his ability to become corrupt. Therefor, our founders defined, separated, and gave limited powers to each branch to be a "check and balance" to each other. Then, our founders gave us the Bill of Rights, which gives the ultimate authority to "we the people". It is the people, who must purge our government of the corruption.

17. The founders established pure democracy in the Constitution because they believed that it is the best form of government to ensure the safety and equitable treatment of all citizens.

Strongly Disagree

God, Voters, Constitution, Congress

19. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in a higher power, I believe Jesus is the Christ. I believe in giving thanks for all things in your life. Be grateful for what you have, and pray for your enemies. "That all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, ......Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness -" and "whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government..." I believe in holding elected officials accountable. Trust, but verify.
