15. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.
Jobs: I know the importance of getting this economy growing and creating jobs. I am committed to conservative, pro-business principles that will help create jobs: cutting taxes, reducing excessive regulations and fully funding worker retraining programs at our community colleges. Repealing Obamacare: The harm that Obamacare does to our economy exemplifies the worst in government overreach. I believe we need to repeal Obamacare and replace it with a market-based system that strengthens the doctor-patient relationship, reduces cost, increases access, and allows American businesses to grow again. Federal Sunset Act: For far too long, the federal government has frivolously spent the American people’s hard-earned tax dollars with little-to-no accountability or oversight. We have to get off this irresponsible path before it is too late. I know that we must make the tough choices to get our fiscal house in order which is why introduced the Federal Sunset Act of 2014.

18. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My wife, Renee, and I have dedicated this campaign to God's purpose. My focus is to remain in His will. Win or lose, I will use the platform of public service God has given me to boldly proclaim my faith at every opportunity. For a long time I was broken and lived life for myself. I believed in God but I wasn't willing to surrender control of my life to Him, or to even believe that he wasn't disappointed in me. Seven years ago, I finally reached the point that I realized I desperately needed God as the King of my life. I discovered that He was a loving Father who wanted to enter into a personal relationship with me. And, it has made all the difference. God has richly blessed me in so many ways.
