QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

My personal conviction is rooted in the belief that every life is a gift from God, beginning at conception. That is my moral North Star. However, as a State Senator, I am not a king; I am a representative. My duty is to advance the cause of life as far as the law and the consensus of my constituents will allow. I will always vote for the most protective pro-life legislation available, and if the current consensus requires exceptions for rape, incest, and the life of the mother to save thousands of other babies, I will support those protections rather than allowing a more radical, pro-abortion agenda to prevail. I am unapologetically pro-life, but I am also committed to being a common-sense legislator who delivers results for my district.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

The government should legally define marriage exclusively as the union between one man and one woman to preserve traditional social and family structures.

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

The right of individuals to live according to their conscience and faith, without government interference, is a fundamental human right essential to a free and pluralistic society.

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

Government's role is to safeguard the "marketplace of ideas," where individuals can peacefully invite others to their faith without fear of legal retaliation or discrimination.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The separation of church and state is a guardrail designed to protect religious institutions from government overreach, ensuring the state cannot dictate how people worship while allowing people of faith to freely bring their values into the public square.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

History has proven that American weakness is a provocation, while a dominant and modernized military is the most effective deterrent against global aggression. By prioritizing a military that no adversary dares to challenge, we protect our national interests and ensure a lasting, stable peace.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

True healthcare reform should focus on lowering costs through free-market competition and transparent pricing rather than imposing a massive, tax-funded government mandate. Empowering patients and doctors to make their own medical decisions is the only way to ensure quality care without the rationing and bureaucracy inherent in socialized medicine.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Remove government-imposed barriers to competition, mandate price transparency, and allow individuals to purchase customized insurance plans that fit their specific needs and budgets.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Disagree

Government’s true responsibility is to foster a pro-growth economy that creates high-paying jobs and rewards the dignity of hard work. Instead of trapping families in a cycle of permanent state dependency, we should focus on expanding individual opportunity and protecting the value of every taxpayer’s dollar.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Non-essential subscriptions and renegotiation of contracts. Corporate welfare. State-run job training programs in favor of private-sector apprenticeships. Reducing "ballooning" Medicaid costs by implementing stricter eligibility audits and oversight.

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Immigration should be limited to those who enter legally through a merit-based system, pass strict security vetting, and can support themselves without relying on taxpayer-funded benefits.

2ND AMENDMENT

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

We must harden our schools by allowing highly trained, volunteer staff to serve as a last line of defense against those who wish to do our children harm. By ending 'Gun-Free Zones' and empowering responsible gun owners in our schools, we create a powerful deterrent that ensures our students are protected by more than just a locked door.

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

We don't need more restrictions on law-abiding citizens; we need more accountability for criminals. The Second Amendment is clear: the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Every time the government imposes a new restriction, it doesn't stop the person intent on doing evil, it only disarms the mother trying to protect her children or the shopkeeper defending his livelihood.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

I will support a "Small Business Bill of Rights" to freeze or repeal regulations that stifle innovation and increase costs for local manufacturers. I will support bills that protect and promote Indiana’s energy resources, like coal and natural gas, to lower utility costs for every household. I will support bills to cut the "red tape" and state-level fees that drive up the cost of new home construction. I will lead the fight to classify EMS as an 'essential service' in Indiana law. I will support a "Government Efficiency Act" to eliminate or merge redundant state boards and commissions that currently waste tax dollars and slow down private innovation.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

In the U.S., we have one Constitution and one unified legal system applying equally to all, regardless of faith. Allowing parallel or foreign legal systems like Sharia law to take root in our courts undermines "Equal Justice Under Law". I am committed to the absolute supremacy of the U.S. Constitution and Indiana law. Our judicial decisions must be based solely on the American legal tradition that has protected our liberties for over two centuries.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I believe being a conservative is about being a good steward of the things that work and my values are rooted in preservation, community, and the rule of law. I don't want to dismantle government institutions entirely out of a sense of grievance, but I do want to restore them to their proper, limited functions of protecting liberty and promoting morality.

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

• Political Integrity: My "Transparency, Integrity, and Morality" platform confirms my commitment to leading without moral compromise. • No-Compromise Leadership: My role with Congresswoman Spartz and Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith aligns me with a conservative, liberty-minded and faith-first approach to governance. • Business Stewardship: My ownership of a local Spencer business demonstrates a personal commitment to responsibility and "America First" values. • Election Sanctity: My support for Indiana’s strict Voter ID laws validates my belief in protecting the electoral process through accountability. • Community Stewardship: My long-term service on the 4-H Council and church boards shows I prioritize local preservation over national political conflict. • Spiritual Foundation: My Christian Counseling degree and leadership at a pregnancy resource center is evidence my character is rooted in biblical principles. Most importantly, my mom instilled the importance of sound, moral and principled character into me until she passed at 92.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

A combination of high-level executive experience with the practical, results-oriented mindset of a successful small business owner have prepared me to serve constituents in District 39. I don't just understand the legislative process; I have already mastered its highest hurdles to deliver tangible results. My experience is not theoretical; I have walked the halls of the U.S. Capitol as a Congressional Chief of Staff and currently serve as the Director of Government Affairs for the Lieutenant Governor. I have successfully navigated the high-stakes procedural environment of Congress to pass legislation under suspension (a process requiring a two-thirds supermajority), a move that requires building immediate, broad-based consensus, and I bring that same executive-level grit to the Indiana Statehouse every day. Whether I am troubleshooting complex local issues for our mayors and commissioners and connecting them to the appropriate people in state agencies, or harnessing the support of current Senate members to champion conservative priorities, I have spent my career serving as a link between local government and state policy. As a small business owner who pivoted my manufacturing facility to serve my neighbors during a crisis, and as a mother with three sons currently serving in the U.S. Army, my leadership is forged in real-world service, personal sacrifice, and problem solving. I have spent years bringing the voices of Hoosiers from every corner of this state directly to the halls of power, ensuring that the people are heard. I am ready to hit the ground running on day one because I already possess the established relationships, the institutional knowledge, and the relentless drive required to turn our shared values into enacted law.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

Beyond the legislative halls, my life is defined by the same grit and energy I’ll bring to the Senate. When I was first married, I didn't just ride horses, I competed on the WPRA circuit in barrel racing, a testament to the competitive spirit and focus I carry into every fight. Today, you’re just as likely to find me traveling the backroads on a Harley-Davidson (I’m proud to say I earned my endorsement at age 50!) or hiking Indiana’s beautiful trails as you are to see me in a boardroom. It’s a reflection of my adventurous and driven personality: when I commit to something, I go all in. That commitment to service is a family value; as a mother of three sons on active duty in the U.S. Army, I deeply understand the weight of responsibility and the vital importance of being reachable when it matters most. That is why, as your State Senator, I plan to be the most approachable and available representative in the state. I don’t believe in gatekeepers; I believe in accountability. I will be a Senator with an open-door policy and a direct line for my constituents because when you call, you deserve to reach your senator.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

As noted by John Adams, our Constitution was designed only for a moral and religious people and is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

This could lead to the government punishing religious organizations and small business owners for acting according to their sincerely held beliefs and traditional values. We should focus on protecting the individual liberties and constitutional freedoms already guaranteed to every American.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

For me, faith is the marriage of a personal relationship with Christ and a commitment to timeless truths in the Scriptures that guide my character, ethics, and purpose. My life is anchored by a firm conviction in an objective Moral Law that aligns me with a universal standard of right and wrong that is woven into creation by God Himself.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

ID isn't just a legal requirement; it’s about integrity and I believe in ensuring every voter is who they say they are.

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

It serves as a critical constitutional safeguard that prevents a few high-population urban centers from silencing the voices of rural states.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

I disagree with the 'woke' narrative that America is a systemically racist nation. Our domestic security is threatened by any extremist ideology that uses violence whether that is white supremacy, Antifa, or radical groups. I don't single out one group for political points; I support law enforcement in going after anyone who threatens Hoosiers' safety, regardless of their skin color or political motivation.
