QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Neutral
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I believe we should protect life at all stages. Without life, you can't have liberty. That being said, if someone wants to have an abortion they will find a way to do so, either on the black market or using some other unsafe measures. I believe the government should do everything in its power to limit unwanted pregnancies in the first place, starting with making birth control available over the counter. I don't think we should encourage abortions or make them easy, but punishing people for doing them safely instead of getting it done via the black market doesn't seem like a good idea to me.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Churches should not get any special treatment under the law, and there should not be a state religion. Citizens should have no fear of practicing any faith they please.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
We need a strong military at home, and to stop meddling in the affairs of other countries in the middle east. Most of the time when radical Islamists hate us and try to attack us it's because we're over there killing civilians with drone bombs. We'd get angry too if we were in their shoes. We're trillions of dollars in debt as it is, and don't need to be spending more to prop up dictators in these countries, historically setting them up for failure a few years later.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I would firstly get the government out of it as much as possible. Some of the meddling the government has done has been very harmful and caused prices to soar. I'd also love to see the Insurance companies have less power. Back in the day you would pay for routine doctor visits out of pocket, and only rely on insurance for extreme/catastrophic situations. Now you need insurance for everything; prices are way too inflated, and everyone knows it. I'd also love to see the tie between employer and insurance severed. It does not make sense that if you lose your job you should lose your health insurance, an it should be handled separately.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
We can't. The program is going to go bankrupt and everyone knows it. We need to let young people opt out, because they're paying into a program they will never see benefits from. If they instead invest that money into a retirement account they'd be a lot better off. As for people who are relying on it in the future - we need the government to stop stealing money from the program to fund other things. After that we should cut other wasteful spending and unnecessary federal agencies & programs to help fund what should be paid out to Americans.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Most of it.
Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?
They should not. We need to get the government out of the business student loans, and allow students to go bankrupt, so we can let the market function and decrease the price of college tuition.
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Neutral
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.
No Answer
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
No Answer
Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
I want to greatly expand the amount of people who can immigrate to our country and contribute their hard work to our economy. It takes far too long for good workers to be allowed to move here, and it could make us so much better if we expedite that process.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I believe we need less restrictions than there are now to increase public safety. If citizens in all 50 states were allowed to open/concealed carry, violent offenders would be deterred from committing crimes. Also, you should be at least 18 years old to own your own firearm and carry it. Aside from that, all other current gun laws are an infringement on the 2nd Amendment and should be repealed.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.
Strongly Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Strongly Agree
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
1) First I will propose that we address systemic issues in our police force, by proposing the following: End Qualified Immunity, End the War on Drugs, End No Knock Raids, End Victimless Crime Laws, End Mandatory Minimum Sentencing, and End the Militarization of Police. 2) I will propose a reduction of the size and scope of our military. We are meddling too much in unnecessary endeavors overseas, and that money could be much better spent here at home. 3) I will propose removing federal regulations on guns, and encouraging nationwide concealed carry laws. Here in New Jersey, it is just about impossible to obtain a concealed carry permit. I don't feel nearly as safe now as I would knowing that responsible gun owners were around me were carrying weapons to deter a potential threat, should one arise.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
While there is some racism out there, we have come a long way as a people and with the protests and awareness campaigns that have taken center stage lately, people are more vigilant than ever in the fight against hate and racism. However, the real threat to domestic security is the media. I believe they have been stoking the flames and inciting more hatred than most of the original acts of racism that prompted protests in the first place.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
Nope.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I believe in maximum freedom, minimum government, and liberty for all. If you are fed up with the broken 2 party system, and Albio Sires' stranglehold on NJ's 8th Congressional District, please cast your vote my way. Thank you!
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Disagree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Neutral
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I was raised Catholic, but now consider myself a Christian. I believe in helping and supporting my fellow man to the best of my abilities, and it is a life goal of mine to make a large and positive impact on the world.
