Legislator Who Endorsed Killing of Police Resigns Under Fire
In 1993, the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire (LPNH) booted Alciere. The party's executive committee renewed its stance against the candidate last month (6-2018), noting in a resolution that "Alciere has a history of advocating violence" and "refused to take a pledge against violence as a means of obtaining political objectives."
QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
It is especially harsh to force persons who believe abortion is murder, to pay for somebody else's abortion.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Neutral
Under the Doctrine of Enumerated Powers, Congress has no authority to govern such things except in the District of Columbia. In D.C., Congress must suffer persons to destroy themselves but must prohibit murder, which is the killing of somebody else.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
None. Here, the unalienable right to control her own body conflicts with the baby human's unalienable right to life. Governments must not take sides on religious doctrinal issues, but it is irrelevant whether God or a godless nature makes the tide rise at Hampton Beach, because either way, the tide certainly does rise. It is irrelevant whether the baby's right to occupy that womb is God-given or natural, because, either way, it is the baby's right, which narrowly preempts the mother's right to control her body. Lawmakers must analyze the chessboard for every opportunity to minimize the burden to mothers and must never assume that all mothers will be okay with childbirth.
Employers must be free to offer a job and housing together if they wish to help a mother in a crisis pregnancy, so she can escape from a toxic relationship. Laws against sex discrimination must not interfere with such offers.
Emancipating the slaves was totally unacceptable to many persons, but the opponents were motivated by greed and wickedness. Lawmakers must remember that many a mother is pushed to the point of wanting to murder her own baby, but often not motivated by her own greed or wickedness. Maybe she could afford an apartment, but lawmakers inflate the cost with outrageous zoning restrictions and by requiring a parking lot, which she doesn't need if she has no car. Maybe she could afford child care, but laws require employees of child care centers to have a college degree to babysit children, which is absurd.
Adoption should not be an all-or-nothing deal. She may need somebody else to raise the child for a time. Arrangements involving less than total adoption must be permitted in the District of Columbia.
Every effort must be made to find chess moves that help her without violating anybody's rights.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
Many persons who are wealthy have benefitted from manipulations of the economy from agricultural subsidies to zoning variances, where bureaucrats backed by law enforcement decide who wins and who loses. Abolish zoning at the State level and let landlords scramble for tenants at half of today's rents. Some persons will lose everything, same as when slaves were emancipated.
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
Following the Doctrine of Enumerated Powers will reduce federal spending. Most federal spending is blatantly unconstitutional because it is not authorized by the U.S. Constitution. Closing U.S. military bases in foreign countries will cut the war budget. It's not the job of the United States of America to prop up crooked tyrants abroad.
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Repeal the federal income tax and FATCA, because it's none of the federal government's business how much money you make, or have in the bank. Tax consumption that happens in the United States of America, because that is protected by the U.S. Armed Forces.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
But religious objections should not be necessary if a caterer objects to serving at a same-sex "wedding" or if a gym owner objects to letting men walk in on women who are showering in the women's locker room or vice versa.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
In a free country, you would forced to provide a service if you do not wish to.
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
The State must not involve itself in regulating religious teachings.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
The government has no right to make you get a vaccination. Private businesses have a right to choose their employees and their customers. If you paid tuition and during the middle of the school year the school says you can no longer attend without being vaccinated, that is breach of contract.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
D. Health care is not a legitimate government function. Retirees who paid into Social Security and Medicare should be covered.
To see how the federal government will run hospitals, just look at the Veterans Administration. Is that how you want hospitals to be run?
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
D. Dethrone dictators by depriving them of victims: Open the borders and shut down the United States Border Patrol. "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free..." America got along just fine for decades without immigration control.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Neutral
It is the right of the individual, whether a business owner or investor, to make these choices.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Try to resolve the conflicting territorial claims in the South China Sea by example, asserting a claim in the Permanent Court of Arbitration over Machias Seal Island, which is disputed, and is between Maine and Nova Scotia.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Stop the provocations by the United States Government, which started in 1953 with the toppling of an elected President in Iran, a President who would nationalize British Petroleum. There is no excuse for spending blood and treasure propping up oil companies.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Disagree
Shut down the United States Border Patrol. Humans are endowed with the unalienable right to travel as freely between Nogales, Sonora and Nogales, Arizona; or between Beebe Plain, Québec and Beebe Plain, Vermont; as they can travel between Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri. Immigration makes the country stronger.
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Neutral
Federal funds should not be provided to any State or local government, period.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Anybody who desires to do so. The government never had any right to restrict immigration in the first place. Many persons vote for candidates who support public school, because they feel that every child somehow has a right to an education at somebody else's expense. When school taxes go up, they tell local bureaucrats to impose tougher zoning restrictions to prevent more families from moving into the town, and they tell Congress to add more Border Patrol goons to prevent more families from moving into the country. Now, what were they saying about "every" child?
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Private businesses must be free to select their employees. How can the government call it "employment at will" if it is against the will of the employer? If a boy is disappointed that he is not a girl and he pretends to be a girl, that does not entitle him to walk in on girls who are showering after gym class in the girls' locker room or vice versa. Neither does the public school have a right to punish a student who calls the boy "he". Facts are stubborn things. Abolish public school.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I accept Jesus Christ as my saviour, but it is not the job of lawmakers backed by law enforcement, to promote any religious doctrine.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Choose not to answer
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
The Constitution allows Congress to regulate the times, manner and places of holding Congressional elections. Congressional elections should be by ballots printed by check printing firms, and each with a unique serial number covered for privacy. After the polls close, night shift would uncover the serial numbers, time-stamp each ballot and scan it with a flatbed document scanner which would read the ballot and put the image on the elections website. You'd see a list of serial numbers that have a vote for your candidate, and you could click on any serial number to see a picture of the ballot. All the unused ballots would be accounted for the same way. Everybody would see how many votes each candidate got. If it sounds expensive just look at the cost of not running the 2020 presidential election that way.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
All of the victims of slavery and all of the persons who benefitted from slavery are dead. It's time to abolish the manipulations of the economy that hurt minorities. You couldn't open a new taxi company in a city that refused to issue more medallions. Ride share companies showed the benefits of eliminating that problem.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
When crimes of police brutality have happened, all too often riots have broken out, where the rioters attacked the bodies and other property of innocent persons who didn't even deserve it. Let's not overlook racist Black folks. We need to stand together united and firm against law enforcement goons.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Choose not to answer
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
I will decide the cost versus benefits on a case-by-case basis because some environmental laws are pushed by big businesses, to increase costs and to prevent somebody else from competing against them.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Choose not to answer
I am an orthodox libertarian extremist. I did not see VERY LIBERTARIAN as a choice.
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I am an orthodox libertarian extremist. I support liberty and justice for all. I will adhere to the Doctrine of Enumerated Powers.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Disagree
Departmental policy cannot preempt constitutional rights or unalienable rights of an individual.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Neutral
Police are a necessary evil. I would shut down the Drug Enforcement Administration and the United States Border Patrol, but mental health care and community programs are not a legitimate function of government. Persons in the District of Columbia must be free to seek mental health care without fear of being locked up and drugged.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
If they ban firearms in the post office, then they must have a security checkpoint where you can leave your gun at the door. Otherwise you must walk unarmed to the post office to sign for an important letter. Not everybody owns a car and leaving your gun in the car involves risk. Congress does not have authority to regulate firearms dealers. The fact that one man shot up a school in Uvalde, Texas is not an excuse to punish hunters who are younger than 21.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
It's like blaming the auto companies when a drunk driver kills somebody.
