The example of the Trinity and the truth that God gave every person free will - which means He gave us freedom. God doesn't force us or use oppressive force to make people follow Him or do His will, thus setting a strong example of the need for limited government so it doesn't become oppressive or force its will over the people either.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Reducing taxes and regulations on our businesses will attract more businesses to our state, help them grow and create new jobs which will make more opportunities available for people to work and lower unemployment. We also need to make sure students are truly learning and achieving in school. We need to improve our high school graduation rates and ensure kids are properly prepared whether they want to go on and get a 4 or 2-year degree or pursue a Career and Technical Education path – either provides an important foundation to help young people pursue a career and avoid post graduate unemployment or underemployment.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

The more we let the free market and competition loose in our healthcare system again – including offering access to plans across state lines – it opens up more options for consumers, provides more supply/access to plans and doctors, and lowers costs for employers and employees.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Reducing taxes and regulations on our businesses will attract more businesses to our state, help them grow, and create new jobs – which helps families, individuals and our business community. This will boost and strengthen our economy short and long-term.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

This past decade while working with Dell and in the technology sector, I worked with state agencies and school districts across Washington. I’ve seen firsthand what’s working and what isn’t in state government. I will continue working to enact meaningful reform which promotes accountability and fiscal responsibility in state government. Serving as the current State Representative for the 17th Legislative District and previously when elected as the Chairman of the 17th Legislative District for the Clark County Republican Party in 2014, I actively worked to learn about the concerns of the citizens I serve. I've hosted educational forums for our District’s citizens including a Legislative Day in Olympia for this purpose. I will never forget that I work for the citizens who sent me to represent them in Olympia.
