Supporting a free enterprise system where opportunity is available to everyone. Restructuring the federal tax system to include a Fair Tax system or simplifying the tax code for corporations and individuals. But our unemployment numbers are down and the best in some areas that have ever been seen. This is due to the President's polices for our economy and the significant revision to the tax code.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I am a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and served my country for 30 years as a Naval Officer and aviator. I have served as the "CEO" or top leader of 4 military commands...as well as 3 assignments in the Pentagon in top level positions. I received my Maters Degree from the National Defense University. My conservative record has been seen as the Fort Bend County Republican Party Chairman and now serving for three terms in the Texas House.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
My experience and work in the Texas House and shown my commitment to Christian, Conservative principles since being elected. I am focused on two primary areas going into the 86th Legislative Session: the children in the Foster Care System who are suffering from the trauma they have experienced in their lives and Veterans, in helping them to make the transition to civilian life and be productive citizens in their communities. I am also proposing legislation to eliminate the Franchise Tax... please contact my office to learn about other issues we are working on.
