Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian conservative Republican and believe very strongly in the Judeo-Christian values found in the Bible. My personal values come from my faith in the Lord and the importance of my family.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Very Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

I believe very strongly in the following conservative principles: Faith – Family – Service to Country and Community Pro-Family and Pro-Life (no exceptions) Pro-America and Pro-Texas Pro-Business with limited Government Intervention/Regulation Less Government – Less Spending – Lower Taxes – Balanced Budgets Constitutional Basis of Government and Laws Pro-People: Foster Children – Veterans – Seniors – Safety of All - Opportunity National and State Sovereignty – Strong National Defense Legal Immigration As a member of the House Appropriations and Public Health Committees, my work and the issues that I strongly supported in the areas of life, marriage, family and fiscal responsibility were aligned with and supported my personal view of being a very conservative member of the House. In the words of Governor Abbott, Lt Gov Patrick and also the Speaker of the House Straus, the 84th Session was the most conservative as was the budget signed by the Governor in the history of the legislature.
