RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
To only save the mother's life!
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Title X funding, a Department of Health and Human Services grant program that targets lower-income Americans, who are facing unintended pregnancies or seeking family planning services any facility receiving federal Title X funding cannot also be an abortion provider. Previously, abortion providers such as Planned Parenthood could receive Title X funds as long as the funds were only used for non-abortion services.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
My concern is that assisted suicide will create a marketplace for death, and I think it’s fundamentally wrong. The Death With Dignity Act, which allowed terminally ill patients to obtain life-ending medication is totally unconstitutionally, unethically and unlawfully. . This type of legislation will never make it out of the Senate as I would always vote to stop such a bill.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Our tax codes in Pennsylvania are outdated and broken. They do not adequately work for taxpayers and the tax code system needs to be fixed. As an elected Republican Lieutenant, my role will be to help cut useless regulations, lower taxes, and give taxpayers more control over their hard-earned money. Here’s what I would propose: Lower tax rates for everyone allowing taxpayers to keep more of what they earn. Simplify everything within the tax codes so that most people, filling out their taxes shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes and to use a form the size of a post card. Narrow or close loopholes that corporations use to get out of paying our current high tax rates. I believe that we should modernize as much as possible because our country has changed a lot since 1986, and our tax laws need to keep up. We should end the corruption and bullying at the IRS. We need to clean house and create a system that works for, not against, taxpayers. Our current tax code has grown out of control in length and complexity. It forces many hard working Americans to rely on professional help to file even the simplest tax return under our current code. It makes our country less competitive as other nations provide lower tax rates. It also incentivizes American businesses to headquarter outside our borders. I will work with legislators to reform our tax system so that Americans are treated fairly, can keep more of their hard-earned money, and companies can bring jobs back to our shores and in Pennsylvania.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
I would review government programs that are cost prohibitive and job killers immediately, such as RGGI and DEP programs. I believe that raising tax rates is the wrong way to balance the budget. It enables the Biden/Wolf tax addicts to wastefully spend the public's money. Republicans support a Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution, phased in over a short period and with appropriate safeguards for national emergencies. We would pass it in the House of Representatives and then the Senate and work with safeguards to prevent blocks by single or multiple voters. As Lieutenant Governor, I will lead the fight for such an amendment in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, 2022 Republicans will finish the fight for its speedy ratification. The budget deficit and high taxes are two halves for a balanced budget and lower taxes, which go hand in hand, and certainly not in separate directions. I will work to reduce the budget deficit by shrinking government programs to produce a fiscal dividend in stronger growth and lower interest rates. By ending that deficit, it will make possible a dramatic return of resources to the American people. I believe that tax relief is the only way to return the economy to the growth rates our country enjoyed from World War II to the coming of Biden/Wolf; and we will not mortgage our children's future by incurring deficits.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
As a conservative, I seek to fulfil the long quest to defund failing public education and redirect taxpayer money to private schools or school choice. I support parents that are defending their rights. I would work to ensure a Parents’ Freedom to Choose such as a new Parents’ Bill of Rights for the next Lieutenant Governor to get passed the spring of 2023 to enshrine parents’ right to direct their children’s health care, education, and moral upbringing but not thhrough college.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
I believe that religious people, devout Christians in particular, are routinely marginalized and harassed for their beliefs, and that such treatment has gotten worse under the Obama/Biden/Wolf administrations. I believe in religious liberty, and that religious liberty applies to everyone, and that means I'm not threatened by non-Christians having religious liberty either. I feel that banning school prayer and other activities violates the "free exercise" provision and constitutes an infringe.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
If the building is condemned for safety purposes of violates safety capacity then it should be the only reason the government closes a church.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Government overreach, prohibited under the 10th Amendment of the US Constitution, should always be considered unconstitutional.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Proper screening at all ports of entry.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
Israel is the only ally the US has and PLO is considered a terrorist organisation.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Finish building the wall!
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
War torn citizens and only those citizens who are asylum seekers. They must follow all of our US immigration laws.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
CRT is unGodly and unchristian like, and it should be banned from schools.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a devout Christian and I believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. I received Christ in my life as my persona Lord and Savior at the age of 12, and I have attended one church, Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, for more than 17 years.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Stricter voting identification requirements and voter integrity systems.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
America has a colorful history regarding slavery, Jim Crow laws, and equal opportunity with a long-standing campaign to combat allegations of racism in American society. Unfortunately, President Joe Biden actually said: "Terrorism from white supremacy is the most lethal threat to the homeland today -- not ISIS, not al-Qaida, white supremacists." Whenever politicians pander to a specific ethic group, it fans the flame of our racially divided past. Race relations is not a domestic threat.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To serve the people and not the people to serve government.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Pennsylvania Federation For Life, Legacy of Life Foundation, Hope Pregnancy Foundation, AFL-CIO, Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association, Pennsylvania Coal Alliance, Pennsylvania Farmers Bureau, Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, and many more.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I love my country and my state, and I believe that my military and business experience make me a very good fit for the people and the position. Apart from that, I am a pro-life Christian, a constitutionalist, a 1st, 2nd & 10th Amendment leader, a business strategist, and an HR professional based out of Hatboro, PA with a track record that speaks for itself.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Agree
When and only after an investigation of police misconduct, then proper legal actions should be taken and both officers and their families should be immune from lawsuits.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
None. The gun owners or merchant shop keepers provide the necessary background checks to prevent felons from obtaining weapons.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
