QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Abortion is Murder and should never be allowed.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
I have been in State Government now for 4 years, There is a lot of waste in several areas that I believe need to be looked at and cut. I think that some private contracts that have been given out should be cut out and allow state employees to do the work that was contracted out.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
It means to me that the Government can not tell the Church how to worship God and can not interfere with the affairs or workings of the church.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I believe that every person has the right to pursue life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I want every person to have the proper and adequate healthcare, but I don't feel it is the governments duty to provide it for every person. I believe that those who are able to work should work, but those who are disabled, elderly, or young not able to provide for themselves should be taken care of.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Those who choose to legally enter the U.S. by the proper channels should be able to come here and live. They should pledge their allegiance to our country and choose to live by the Constitution of The USA.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I trusted Christ as my Savior when I was 11 years old in November of 1981. I know that God has a perfect will for everyone's life. That Christ died for all and he wants them to trust him as Savior, then He wants them to practice Proverbs 3:5-6 which says to Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to thine own understanding, In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths. I try to live my life doing just that. I know that God in in control and I trust him. I want him to direct me in his will, so I acknowledge him because I want him to direct me to go in the path of reaching people, helping people and to be a difference maker to those around me. I pray every day that God would help me to love him more and help somebody around me.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I know that our country was founded upon the principles of God's Word. I believe a person should be taught to work hard, give an honest days work to their employer. I believe that anything such as the advancement of the gambling industry, liquor industry, marijuana industry are only things that create more problems in society and should not be promoted by those holding public office where we are entrusted to do what is right for the people of our districts. I believe that the home as God intended for it to be is between one man and one woman. I believe the devil is trying to destroy the home and disrupt the children from their parents. I believe we must be aware of the subtle attack of Satan against the Home & Government and be willing to stand and fight for the Biblical principles that we were founded upon.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I am a High School graduate from Hazard Christian Academy in 1987. In 1991, I began my career with the Kentucky State Police as a Radio Dispatcher, In 1994, I attended and graduated from the Kentucky State Police. I worked with the public for 22 years with KSP. I served the public with pride for all those years before answering the call to preach and starting the Gospel Light Baptist Church in December of 2011. I served with the Kentucky State Police and pastored the church at the same time for 15 months. I have been part of a Camp called Project Hope/Camp Promise for 11 years. It is a camp for troubled boys who have been in trouble or live in foster care or being raised without a father figure in their lives. I have tried to live my life serving people and trying to make a difference. I believe these experiences have prepared me to serve as State Representative of the 84th district.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
it is my desire to see our District and region of South eastern Ky to prosper, to see our people be able to work and provide for their families. it has been my privilege to serve the Lord and the people of the 84th District for the last 4 years. I would be very humbled and excited to have the opportunity to serve you another 2 years. God bless you, the 84th district, our state of Kentucky and God bless our great United States of America.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
I know that racism exist in America, I think more so in the cities rather than the country, but I also believe that there have been leaders who have tried to stir up racism in the last few years and they are responsible for uprising of different groups that have began to destroy properties and businesses and they are becoming a threat to the security of our country. this kind of behavior can not be tolerated.
