Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
None.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Man has a sinful nature that makes it unwise to concentrate power in one person or institution. The separation of powers between state and federal governments and between the various branches relies on the tendency of people work in their own self interest. The struggles of those officials and institutions between one another protects the liberty of the people.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe the Holy God who created the universe loves every person and offers one path to salvation and oneness with Him through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus. The Bible is his reliable and unchanging standard of truth and right living. We are most fulfilled as people as we seek relationship with Him and to give him glory by dedicating our lives to His purposes: loving God and loving people.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Lowering taxes and reducing regulations is the best way to empower existing businesses and entrepreneurs to create opportunities for work.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Again, I believe in the free market and in government policy that encourages charitable contributions to healthcare ministries that supports the poor. Government programs tend to create dependency that is not healthy for those Who receive it, and which breeds resentment for those who are forced to pay for it. Any government involvement healthcare should be limited to providing a voucher program for our veterans and the truly disabled.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
I believe that government should take a long term, free market approach to the economy. Low taxes, minimal regulation and equal opportunity for all will produce the most prosperity for everyone in the long run. Interventionist economic policies create inefficiencies in the marketplace that hold us all back. Elected officials should not seek to be central planners or “economic developers”, but rather cheerleaders for the free market. Government driven economic development creates opportunities for corruption.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I’ve been an activist watching state, federal and local government for over 26 years. I have logged countless hours analyzing school boards, city Council, county council, the General Assembly and Congress. I think you would be hard-pressed to find anyone who has not served and state government who is more familiar with how state and local government operate. The main concentration of my bachelors degree was in political science and history. Most importantly, I have not gone over 6000 doors in my district and I know the people I wish to serve.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I would have opposed amendment 22 to house bill 65 in the Indiana house education committee head I’ve been serving in 2018. I believe the original language that bill should have gotten a vote on the house floor. I believe it is more important to take principal stands on issues then to pass bills that can make us feel good, but that accomplished little in reality. Representatives who claim to share our values should be given the opportunity to stand with us or oppose us in consequential votes on the house floor.
