Congress should repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).

Election of judges by the people for a definite term of office is the best way to select judges.

Government should enforce laws designed to protect the border and to prevent illegal entry into the country.

Strongly Agree

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Strongly Agree

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Free enterprise and the right to private property turn mankind's natural self-interest into the most productive economic system there is.

Strongly Agree

There should be a strict constitutional spending limit for state and local governments that would tie the rate of spending to the rate of population growth plus the rate of inflation.

Strongly Agree

Marijuana should be legalized and regulated like tobacco and alcohol.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

The founders established pure democracy in the Constitution because they believed that it is the best form of government to ensure the safety and equitable treatment of all citizens.

Strongly Disagree

Free-market competition for education dollars, rather than a government monopoly, would create a better education for all students.

Strongly Agree

Where minor children are involved, divorce laws should be reformed to include mutual consent of both parents and an increased waiting period, unless there is fault or abuse.

Strongly Agree

The Ten Commandments should not be displayed in public school buildings.

Strongly Disagree

The more people live by Judeo-Christian values, the less government is needed.

Strongly Agree

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

While the founders wanted a representative form of government, they also knew that left unchecked, the sinful, self-serving hearts of men could easily turn government into a tyrannical mob rule, where the majority could dominate and infringe the rights of the weak and the few. They looked to the Bible for insight as to how to set up our government, which is why it has worked so well and a reason why America is such an exceptional nation.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

The usual answer is "life of the mother," but the goal isn't to take one life to save the other, rather do EVERYTHING possible to save both

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I made the decision to accept the free gift of salvation (officially). Jesus is my Lord and my Savior and serving Him is my life's goal. I have traveled the nation telling people about our "God of the Impossible" and have lived my life with that in mind--including filing for this race, where I will be outspent by enormous margins. Jesus is everything He claims to be and my hope is in Him alone. If we love Jesus, we will "keep His commandments," including stopping the shedding of innocent blood of abortion. As Bill Federer said, Spreading the Gospel is the most important thing, and the second most important thing is fighting to keep the freedom to do the most important thing!

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Very Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

As my bios on JanetFolgerPorter.com and F2A.org reveal, I have spent my life working to advance life, liberty, and the family. I authored the Heartbeat Bill, to protect every unborn child whose heartbeat can be heard (the most pro-life law to pass the Ohio House of Representatives), and lobbied to pass Ohio's Parental Consent, Woman's Right to Know Law, Fetal Homicide, and the nation's first ban on Partial Birth Abortion. I have stood for religious liberty in many ways including lobbying Congress against the unequal justice of Hate Crimes. My 2005 book, "The Criminalization of Christianity," was just updated with a documentary David Barton said "may be the most important documentary on marriage yet" entitled, "Light Wins: How to Overcome the Criminalization of Christianity." I am Right Wing Watch's second "most watched" woman in America after Michele Bachmann. They, apparently, consider me to be a threat to their anti-life anti-liberty agenda.

Additional comment from candidate:

After five years of begging the Senate to pass the pro-life Heartbeat Bill, I decided that the only way to protect babies was to replace the Senate obstructionists. I recruited candidates to run across the state, and, after being turned down by a dozen people to run for the 22nd Senate District, I decided to put my faith to action and file myself. I am now a candidate running against the establishment incumbent lawyer who voted to increase government spending, fund Obamacare, and blocked the pro-life Heartbeat Bill by refusing to sign a discharge petition to bring it to a floor vote. Interestingly, while my opponent was voting to fund Obamacare in the State budget, I was leading the rally outside former Speaker John Boehner's district office to DEFUND Obamacare. I am an activist and have spent my life fighting for the Biblical values we hold dear and will NOT change when elected. I understand that I will answer to God and work for the people.
