OTHER INFORMATION
QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Life of the mother.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Improved early mental health and substance misuse treatment could offset and reduce institutional costs like incarceration and state mental health hospitalization, foster care and homelessness and increase employment and productivity. Helping youth get a good education and start in the work force could reduce poverty and improve family formation.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
We are free to practice the religion of our choice-or no religion at all. It is freedom of religion-NOT- freedom from religion. It means the United States will not establish an official religion.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I will continue to work to make healthcare more affordable while maintaining quality and I expanding choice and access to care. That includes telehealth, price transparency and allowing healthcare professionals to practice to their full scope of care. I support options to traditional health insurance such as direct primary arrangements combined with major medical policies and a health savings accounts. I support ensuring underserved communities have access to care through FQHC’s. I support medical tuition assistance for doctors and dentist who will practice for 5 years in underserved areas to provide free or subsidized routine healthcare. I believe we should include behavioral health care in our medical care system for more consistent timely services and improved health results. I support efforts to bring the price American’s pay for prescription drugs down. These prices should be no higher than prices paid by citizens of other countries.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
We need comprehensive immigration reform our immigration laws need to be enforced. Temporary work visas have a proper role to play in our economy. Our failure to adopt real immigration reform and enforce our laws has opened the door to human trafficking. It also economically rewards employers who break the law and punish their competitors who follow the law. Failure to control our borders allows both people seeking opportunity and criminal elements to cross in and out of our country with little accountability. We need a robust education element for immigrants and school children about the principles that America was founded on. Citizens need to understand what makes our country a land of freedom and opportunity and the checks and balances built into our system of government and the great sacrifices that were made to establish our free nation. Our citizens need to understand understand these things and their role in preserving our country and our freedom.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Christian.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
The promise of America is that all people are created equal and have certain rights are bestowed to us by our Creator God. Racism is the antithesis of the ideals our nation was founded on. Racism and identity politics has become a threat to our existence. This is not to say that America has ever been perfect. It is made up of humans and we must continually reach to progress and attain our ideals.I believe there are people who are racist, but I don’t believe America is systemically racist. We have important work to do to help people out of poverty by providing a good education and support to help individuals and families reach their full potential. Those who abuse positions of power must be held accountable with due legal process, not by lynch mobs. Mob rule must not replace the rule of law and the right to a fair trial in America.
