I am pro-life.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The separation of powers is essential to protect our democracy from tyranny. If one person held all the powers of government, the temptation to a human would often prove to great a temptation, because man by his nature is imperfect.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Connect unemployed and underemployed with apprenticeships, skills training and education so they can gain skills that employers need. Returning vocational and technical training to our high schools & through dual enrollment preparing students who are not headed to college to be employable out of high school. Eliminate any disincentives in our complex state and federal safety net for individuals and families to rise to better opportunities for a better future. Help people who have gotten addicted to drugs access support or need assistance with mental illness so they have a chance to return to work and regain their independence. Provide supportive service to people incarcerated to help them return to work to be productive members of society at the end of their term instead of returning to jail at great expense to taxpayers and the detriment of their families.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Affordable options like Direct Primary Care and options for a high deductible insurance plan. Return competition to the healthcare market & improve transparency for customers on price and quality and incentives to engage consumers to fight healthcare fraud. Continue to enable ways to improve access and the cost efficient delivery of healthcare by through innovations like telemedicine, use of electronic medical record and direct primary care. Also we can improve access like allowing nursing professionals and physician assistants to practice the full scope of services they are trained for and even enabling pharmacist to be a greater part of the patient care team..
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Defend property rights. Operate a fair court system Keep the burden of government from taxes or regulations low. Invest in roads and port infrastructure as needed. Provide for the national defense and public safety.
