OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

None.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

First and foremost, Congress should be made to pay back the portion they have taken out with interest. We could also broaden the population from which the fund draws revenue, find ways to reduce costs and increase the age for retirement.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Condensing all of the 18 National Security agencies down to about 4.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

None. If you took out a student loan, you should pay it off yourself.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The separation of church and state does not appear anywhere in the U.S. Constitution. In 1954, then Senator LBJ tacked onto a bill an amendment so that churches and other 501(c)3 organizations could not endorse a political candidate. It is my understanding that no one read and it passed. This outrageous law should be abolished, and I think churches should be allowed to endorse anyone they please. Especially in the current environment, it is necessary to help keep us a Christian nation.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Neutral

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I would promote such coverage by revising Obamacare but not repealing it. Healthcare should not be based on a person's income, since I feel that those with a lower income are not being given adequate treatment. Also, people with pre-existing conditions should never be denied coverage or be made to pay a higher premium because of it.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Neutral

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Create a document to be signed by all immigrants that they will agree to sever any and all ties to Hamas and/or the Muslim Brotherhood and will not engage in any efforts whatsoever to undermine or convert to Sharia Law the laws in America which they understand are based on the Constitution and the Bible. If violated, they agree to be immediately deported.

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Immigrants who legally go through the process required for citizenship should be allowed to immigrate to the United States.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian who believes that Jesus is the Son of God, he is the only way to heaven and that we should live life to please him and not ourselves. I try to live my life according to God's word, especially the two commandments that Jesus gave us which are to "love God" and "love your neighbor as yourself." I often wonder why these are not on our halls of justice. I believe in "live and let live" and it doesn't matter to me what a person believes as long as they follow The Golden Rule. I believe that marriage is between a man and a woman which are the only two sexes that God created. My priorities are God first, family second, job third and recreation fourth.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

My views are described on my website at www.JoanFarr.com.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

Yes. I can't be bought.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Neutral

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

They should be put on violent offenders who have shown that they have no regard for human life.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Neutral

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Agree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

My first priority is to overhaul the legal system by passing a "justice amendment." My second priority is to implement a "Get Out of Debt" plan to help bridge the gap between the rich and the poor. My third priority is to help President Trump remove innocent Americans from the terrorist watch list.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism concerning black people has always been a problem in the United States, but I don't think it is a threat to domestic security. I think the Deep State is funding the current efforts to try and make it appear to be a threat, but it is the Deep State that is the real threat to America.
