OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

George Washington's comment that “Religion and morality are the essential pillars of civil society” is still true today.

Strongly Agree

Any teaching to children on sex education in public schools must include all contraceptive methods, and should not show preference to abstinence.

Strongly Disagree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

Islamic law (Sharia) should take precedence over national and state laws where there are Islamic majority communities in the U. S.

Strongly Disagree

The state constitution should limit the growth of spending to the rate of population growth plus the rate of inflation.

Strongly Disagree

Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.

Agree

People should be allowed to use public restrooms, showers, and changing rooms based on "gender identity."

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

No circumstances. There is no justification for intentionally taking innocent unborn life.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Man has an inherently evil nature. Thomas Jefferson said and I agree that "In questions of power then, let no more be heard of confidence in man but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution." This is why we must have rule of law (republic) not mob rule (democracy). Laws and public spending decisions must not be made based on emotions or the whims and wants of the masses. Checks and balances are absolutely needed to prevent any one man from becoming too powerful.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in absolute right and absolute wrong. I reject moral relativism or the "if it makes you feel good, do it" attitude. I reject any progressive talk of social justice or using the force of government to make people do things which go against their beliefs (ex. cater a homosexual wedding). I reject the "times have changed" argument. God's commands have not changed! I believe Jesus Christ died for my sins and that if I repent and call on his name, I will be saved.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

The Constitution Party oF Wisconsin does vetting on any potential candidate on constitutional and Christian grounds. If any candidate (including me) isn't 100% pro-life, only for traditional marraige, if he isn't pro-parental rights and for individual rights and personal responisiblity, we will NOT endorse them. We rejected three potential candidates just this year who weren't 100% pro-life. I would not be permitted to be the CPoW party Chairman if I compromised on the Moral Order. https://www.constitutionpartyofwisconsin.com/full-platform and https://www.constitutionpartyofwisconsin.com/platform/seven-principles/

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

1. Shrinking the Federal government down to constitutional levels (Article 1: Section 8). States cannot properly finance public services because the Federal government wrongly takes so much from the states and the people. If elected politicians obeyed the Constitution and regulated only what they were allowed to, it would free up much money for private use (business expansion needing more workers) 2. The work ethic in our nation has been virtually destroyed so that must be restored chiefly by ending government welfare programs which are funded by wealth confiscation. Government doesn't do charity well; it just creates dependency.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Chiefly by getting government out of funding health care. The more government gets involved, the more paperwork and regulations there are and the less time doctors/nurses have for their patients. End Obamacare completely, not just eliminate the individual mandate. Also, no benefits for those who are in our nation illegally. If Americans are struggling to get affordable health, that problem will not be solved by providing health care to those illegally in America who cannot afford their own coverage that others will have to pay for.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Virtually none. It is not the role of elected representatives, senators or sitting presidents to "create jobs" and "grow the economy". If government does anything, it should be to protect citizens from fraud and thieves. Organizations like the Small Business Administration and the Import/Export Banks should be eliminated, as well as any government agency not listed in the US Consitutiton. That would free up hundreds of billions of dollars. Stop deficit spending and borrowing money. The interest on the debt is killing us. Our nation is facing economic collapse at this rate. Stop inflating our currency and end the Federal Reserve.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I am already in an executive position for one of the ballot-qualified parties in Wisconsin. For several years I have been State Chairman of the Consitution Party of Wisconsin. As for experience, since the office of State Treasurer has been gutted (I opposed this when I ran for Treasurer in 2014 as well) and is down to one duty, I would say that I am over-qualified for this post.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I have a strong work ethic; I do more than just the bare minimum. I am not perfect or sinless, but I live by a moral code of right and wrong and will not compromise my principles nor tell voters what I think they want to hear to get their vote. If voters want an alternative to the same two parties running everything in Madison, State Treasurer is the perfect office. Voting for me this November will not "split the vote" in the governor's race and it won't cost Republicans control of the legislature. This is a chance for voters to try the Constitution Party alternative in a low level office. Please vote for a practicing Christian. Please vote Andrew Zuelke for Treasurer. Thank you.
