(includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C & D. I believe government should not be in the healthcare business. Medicare and Medicaid should be reformed and the government should encourage competition in the healthcare market. Health Care Savings Accounts (HSAs) should be encouraged by the government by tax incentives etc. and allow citizens to purchase health insurance coverage for catastrophic situations and have the consumers take a more active role in purchasing their care from healthcare professionals versus relying on the insurance company and the government (Third Party Payers).

This is a national issue and I am running for state senate in Missouri. I am certainly for all efforts to eradicate Islamic terrorism.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

We should follow the current immigration law! I do believe that only immigrates who can demonstrate that they will not require government assistance or can provide a valuable skill should be allowed to immigrate.

I am a Christian. As a Christian I know that I am sinful and not perfect and I ask for forgiveness all the time. I believe that it is important that I "walk the talk" and my actions speak louder than my words. My relationship with God is personal. Everyday I try to help those in need and do good for him and to be a faithful servant. I love God and I love my neighbors. My wife and I attend church weekly and I attend the Capitol Commission bible study when the house of representatives are in session.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I voted for Hb 1878 this year that enacted many new election integrity requirements in Missouri. We now require Voter ID, paper ballots, air gapped voting scanners/counters and special protections for the production of paper ballots along with many other things to make it easy to vote, but very hard to cheat.

The US constitution say that our government shall establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity. In essence, I believe in a limited role for government. Government should only do things that cannot be done in the private sector.

While serving in the Missouri House, I was chosen by my peers to serve in a leadership role because of my temperament, diplomatic and leadership skills required to be an effective leader. I consider myself a "work horse" not a "show horse" in the legislature. I believe its more important to solve problems for Missourians than to spend my time promoting myself for political gain. I am running for State Senate because I have proven that I can effectively lead and pass meaningful legislation that moves Missouri forward.
