RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

The life of the mother. However, in 2022 I do not believe that such a condition exists.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Eliminate income tax and repeal the 16th Amendment.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

EVERYTHING EXCEPT defense, law enforcement, the courts, transportation infrastructure and education.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

I believe that the U.S. ought to fund K-12 education, the great equalizer, and leave citizens to fund college without government involvement. However, I do not believe there is any appropriate role for government to deliver that education. Thomas Jefferson encouraged the nation to "establish & improve the law for educating the common people." But he did not call for government employees to deliver that education. The temptation to indoctrinate students is too great for the Left to resist.


RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None, especially when the government has become the church of the Left.


HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

D. However, I would support government subsidy to pay for private insurance policies for those who are unable (not unwilling) to care for themselves.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

No government, school, nor employer should be allowed to require that their employees receive vaccinations. However, I believe that non-essential private companies should be permitted to require that their customers be vaccinated.


NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

1. Maintain a close relationship with reasonable Islamic leaders, like Jordan, and encourage them to lead civil culture. 2. Press leaders of Islamic countries to allow religious liberty (especially Christian evangelism) in their countries. 3. Keep terrorists on the run, assigning a U.S. military division to infiltrate and chase them to every corner of the Earth.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

I support the Trump plan for this.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

A specific, finite, annual number of people for every other country. We should only invite folks who embrace American founding principles, wish to assimilate more than influence, and who will never add to the burden of American taxpayers.

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

I am a terrifically inadequate and sinful follower of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Holy One, the second person of the Trinity, the Creator of everything (John 1). My values involve pursuing "the laws of Nature and of Nature's God" in everything; my family, my company, and my service to the people of the Great State of Colorado.

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

1. Aggressive and constant cleansing of voter rolls 2. Allow ballots to be mailed out, but require every voter to drop off their ballot with matching government issued ID 3. Secure, uniquely numbered paper ballots 4. Require complete transparency of voting machines and software. There should be nothing proprietary about tabulation. 5. No tabulating votes until ~100% of ballots have been scanned 6. Elevate vote fraud to treason, punishable by life in prison; no exceptions for Secretaries of State and County Clerks

The racism that has been demonstrated by Antifa and Black Lives Matter is a violent threat to domestic security.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
