Abortion should allowed to save the life of the mother.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Maintain strong border controls and pursue a noninterventionist foreign policy. Our foreign policy must be based on George Washington's farewell address, commerce with all and no entangling alliances. And use diplomacy to settle disputes, because the United States should have the moral authority to be an honest broker among conflicting parties.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Government power should be diffused so a strong central government would not trample on individual rights. Protecting Individual rights as outlined in the Bill of Rights is the primary responsibility of government.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I grew up Jewish in New York whose parents were the only ones in their families to survive the Holocaust. My family celebrated the major Jewish holidays but did not observe the Sabbath; thus we were more of a cultural Jewish household than a religious one. Nevertheless, I believe the Ten Commandments given to Moses (my given name when I was born in West Germany after WW II) is one of the greatest gifts God gave human beings. I wish everyone embraced the values expressed in the Commandments. Throughout my life my late father would say to me, "there is a right way and a wrong way, always chose the right way." I think I lived up to my father's values that he taught me when I was little boy.

As a pro-life libertarian who is a passionate defender of religious and individual liberty, free enterprise and a common sense foreign policy of the "Old Right," I would be an outspoken defender of life, liberty and peace in the United States Senate.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
As a founding trustee of a nonprofit health center that is supported by individual and corporate donations, this model to deal with the uninsured does not require taxpayer funding. We need to reestablish the doctor-patient relationship. instead of insurance companies making medical decisions that may not be in the best interests of patients. In addition, a health savings account is a common sense approach to provide families with the coverage they need based on their needs and desires. There needs to be a review of the patent system so generic drugs could come to the market sooner. Importation of less expensive generics should be legal.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
The government should reduce both taxes and spending so the private sector can do what it does best, create jobs and more wealth. Deregulation would eliminate unnecessary rules that hamper small businesses, the engine of economic growth. The federal budget wastes hundreds of billions of dollars and is running unconscionable deficits that have driven the nation debt to more than $21 trillion. In short, the federal government needs to be downsized substantially, to match spending with constitutionally authorized activities.
What changes should be made to the tax code?
I propose a universal credit--a dollar reduction in federal taxes for every dollar donated to nonprofits and houses of worship--so they can help individuals and families become financially independent. This proposal would help phase out "trickle-down" welfare, and eliminate the welfare state. I also propose the federal gas tax be abolished and federal roads and highways be paid from the defense budget. I am calling for a zero corporate income tax, because business income should be taxed once like all other income. Corporations would save tens of billions in accounting costs, and the US would be the greatest magnet for capital investment, which would create millions of jobs.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Minimum wage laws price unskilled workers out of the job market. Wages and salaries like other prices in the marketplace should be determined by supply and demand. The Federal Reserve should stop manipulating interest rates, which cause the cycle of boom and bust. The business cycle causes rising unemployment during the bust phase of the cycle. We need a sound money policy so the cycle is eliminated and unemployment minimized.
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
I propose that young workers have the option of remaining in Social Security or opting out so they can save for their retirement. In the meantime, the Social Security system is now running annual deficits and is using its reserves to pay benefits, which will run out in less than 20 years. One solution possible solution is to give workers greater incentives to save so they will not have to rely as much on Social Security benefits in the future.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have been a limited government advocate for nearly 50 years. With a Ph.D. in Economic Geography, my dissertation focused on the effects of inflation on local economies, I have taught Finance for the past 33 years. My experience as an economist, investment analyst and real estate professional has given the knowledge to tackle all the economic and financial issues facing the nation. For more than four decades I have written extensively about all the counterproductive polices of the federal government, have given speeches and talks throughout the country, warning about the dangers of big government. I am uniquely qualified to be a US Senator, because of my commitment to the oath I took when I became a citizen in 1959, my knowledge of the federal budget, the Federal Reserve, and support for the free enterprise system and individual rights.

I will not waver in my commitment to individual rights, limited government, and working for a peaceful world. I will work tirelessly to bring common sense policies to the US Senate, even if they are not initially popular. As an career educator, I believe I have the skills to shape public opinion on all the issues I have been advocating for decades, including the right to life.
