QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I believe abortion should be illegal. Funding abortions with tax money is lunacy.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

I cannot support euthanasia. End of life palliative care is different from assisted suicide and euthanasia. Palliative care is humane. Assisted suicide is not.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

None.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

Socialism has failed, and will continue to fail, every where it is tried. A free economy allows people to earn their money in a manner they can best provide. Stealing from others, whether it be through taxes and “redistribution” is immoral.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

The federal government is far too large and involved in far too many things, well beyond what was envisioned as a republic. Spending is out of control and shows no sign of slowing. I voted for balanced budget amendments, that would reverse this. But cutting spending is key. I would never support a tax increase to balance the budget.

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

A fair tax is a flat tax. It should be very easy for people to figure out what they owe. I support a 15% flat tax or less. Nothing else, no tiers, no progressive tax rates. i also support the ability of everyone to file their taxes quarterly instead of having their biweekly paychecks automatically reduced.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

The government, and the courts, have attacked our churches and cultural Christianity. The establishment Clause has been used by the courts to eliminate Christianity from the public sphere. This is wrong and we need to get cultural Christianity back into schools, public events and public buildings. Christians have been persecuted and shunned for too long in this country and we need to bring this influence back into our culture.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

The state should not be banning public prayer, or public displays of Christian iconography. The Establishment Clause was only to ensure that people were not forced to join a government sanctioned church. It was not intended to ban Christianity in America from public life.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

It is always a patient’s choice on whether to take a certain medication, treatment or vaccination. Sometimes that choice is to not take any treatment. The patient has the right to be fully informed. If the proponent of the vaccine or treatment has a good reason for such treatment, they merely need to share it with the patient, not force it. Medical care should never be forced against a person’s wishes.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C—Medicaid and Medicare should remain available.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C—for the last 40 years we have gotten involved in fights and problems overseas at great cost to our people in money and lives lost. Our own security and our own border are what we should focus on. Our record on intervention is largely a record of failure as well.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

This is our number one threat. Not Russia. Not Somalia.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Educate about the mixture of political ideology and religion that political Islam creates. And kill terrorists.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The wall needs to be completed. The roads next to the wall need constant patrol, and lighting, cameras, motion detectors need to be installed. Not one illegal alien should allowed in.

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Sanctuary cities are lawless enclaves that should be defunded. These cities provide refuge to criminals, sex traffickers and drug dealers.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

I have a bill for a 10 year moratorium on all immigration. The last 40 years of illegal immigration has caused untold harm to our society and culture. It will take 10 years to deport the millions of illegal aliens. Once deportations are completed, we can go back to deciding who we want to let in. In my view it should be the best and the brightest, who can bring talent, skills and investments to America.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

CRT is a despicable Marxist lie. It does not belong in any school or university. It teaches hatred and division and falsifies history.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian, a Catholic. I believe in a merciful and powerful God, and that we are all redeemed through Jesus. I believe in prayer.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

ID is the bare minimum required. Anything else promotes and condones fraud. Fraud in elections disenfranchises legitimate voters.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Registration deadlines 90 days before the election, No last minute rule changes. Same day voting; ballots that are marked with serial numbers and watermarks, computer counting but not computer voting. And ID of course.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

This is pernicious and divisive claim that should be categorically rejected as ridiculous, infeasible and based on falsity.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Our laws and our culture are race neutral. The threat to the country are laws that benefit one race over others in jobs, school admissions, medical treatment, etc. Anti-white and anti-Asian laws and practices in jobs and eduction are destructive of the rule of law and unconstitutional.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Our energy and mining industries do a great job of safely mining and doing so in an environmentally responsible manner. It is already over-regulated. We need to turn this industry loose and let it get back to making energy affordable.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I am rated by the American Conservative Union as a top conservative in Congress. I have an A+ rating with the NRA, the GOA and 100% ratings with Heritage and other conservative think tanks. President Trump calls me his “conservative warrior.”

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I was rated as the most effective member of Congress and one of the most conservative. I keep my promises. I stick to the Constitution. I don’t care if I am the only one, or one of three or four (as I often am with Rep. Thomas Massie, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert and others) to vote against a bill. I do what is right for America First.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

We need more aggressive policing and more criminals in jail. Enough of these no arrests, multiple felony committing people running around terrorizing law abiding citizens.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None. The armed people are there for safety of themselves and the public.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

Victims of violence, whether it be a car, a gun or a knife or a stick, should sue the perpetrators of the violence. The gun manufacturers are not to blame at all.
