QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Abortion, if it is to be done, is a private matter that should not use taxpayer money. The government, and taxpayer money, should be used to protect life.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Neutral
Look, each state can make its own laws regarding abortion. If abortion is to be allowed, no matter the method, it should be the safest method. It is my preference that no abortion take place and that we protect the unborn. I recognize not everyone agrees with that, and in most states some form of abortion will be allowed. In that event, the safest method possible is obviously required.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
I cannot think of a moral circumstance that would justify the “elective” sacrifice of a child.
Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?
This is a state issue. It should always have been a state issue and the Roe v Wade decision was an unconstitutional usurpation and desecration of the Constitution. Now that Roe v. Wade has been relegated to the trash heap of exceptionally wrong decisions, the matter rests again with the states.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
It means the government cannot establish a favorite church and compel people to attend, not can it take actions against or to hinder some churches and religions that it disfavors. This was the meaning Thomas Jefferson meant when he coined the term as well.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
The constitutional right to freedom of association and freedom of conscience allows free people to decide the actions they will take or not take.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
C. Our foreign policy has been one disaster after another since the 1960’s. We have lost generations of young citizens and spent trillions on losing causes and losing sides. Today’s foreign policy is driven by the military industrial complex which requires blood and war sacrifice to thrive.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Agree
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes. This is an historical alliance and mutually beneficial relationship.
What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?
The military is mismanaged from the highest levels. In addition, there has been a ridiculous if not farcical focus on DIE in the military. Instead of focusing on military readiness, the military is focused on transsexuals, drag shows, and recruiting homosexuals and promoting homosexuals.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Whatever the right course is, we know what the wrong course was. COVID was mishandled from the get-go. The forced vaccines were rolled out by authoritarians and they created vaccine hesitancy.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C
ECONOMY
What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?
A flat tax of 15% and greatly reduced federal spending.
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.
Strongly Agree
There is no reason for any person to pay the loans for another person unless they volunteer to do so. But when tax money is used, it is not voluntary and it is theft from one person to pay another person’s bills. This is immoral and should be illegal.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
Racism has no place in America and ESG, CRT, and DIE, are Marxist policies that are unconstitutionally racist, inherently immoral, and have no place in a free society where all people are equal.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
We have had an open border since 2021. This is a threat to our national sovereignty, our culture, our economy, our security and the welfare of our people.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
We need a ten year moratorium on all immigration until we take back control of the laws and the enforcement of the laws.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
The school choice options in Arizona have proven to be amazingly successful. From the incredible BASIS schools, to the voucher program, Arizona has truly benefitted from school choice.
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Neutral
President Trump has suggested this. The federal DOE has a long track record of failure. It spends a lot of money and has nothing good to show for it. I would certainly take a look at the options.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Disagree
Police departments should concentrate on locking up criminals and protecting the safety of the people.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
None.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.
Strongly Disagree
9 justices has proven sufficient.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
My record in Congress shows I am a consistent and principled conservative.
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To provide for the security of the people from external and internal threats. The current federal government has failed in both purposes. Crime is rampant across the country so there are internal threats to the people’s security. And the border is wide open. We have been under a sustained invasion for years. This external threat is facilitated by the federal government and directly harms every citizen.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No.
VALUES
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Disagree
Marriage is God ordained. That is true, and is supposed to be between one man and one woman. But governments can, and have, created laws regarding civil marriage.
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
Child mutilation should be illegal. Any health care providers that perform surgery or prescribe medications to anyone under 21 should lose their license and face criminal penalties.
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Disagree
Not only should public money not be used, this should be criminalized for anyone under 21.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Catholic. I believe in the redemption of Christ.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
ID should be mandatory.
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
The Founders created a very finely balanced republic with internal checks and balances. This form of federalism and republicanism should be protected and enhanced.
EQUALITY
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
This Marxist trope is factually wrong, historically ignorant and foments racism and division.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Strongly Disagree
There is no real data supporting the Climate Hoax. I cannot put in this short reply all the reasons and data, but sufficient to say the documented historical data going back hundreds of thousands of years shows a timeline of much warmer global temperatures and also much cooler temperatures. Global temperatures fluctuate from ice ages to warming periods. And they fluctuate whether we burn carbon based fuels or not.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Nuclear. Small modular reactors are the future.
