Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
There are times when terminating a pregnancy could be morally and medically justified. Such times include when the life of the mother is at serious risk, when the womb is filled with a tumor and no child is present (hydatidiform mole), and when the infant is not viable, such as an infant developing without much or any of its brain or head (anencephaly).
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
James Madison and others realized that there is an inherent depravity in human beings that makes them not trustworthy. The power they attain quickly corrupts them. The desire to retain that power will push men to Evil without limits. Our Founding Fathers recognized the existence of Evil and the sinful nature of man. Our Constitution prohibits the trust of one man or of a few men. The powers are separated into three branches of government, each with checks and balances over the others.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
There is a Creator, who I believe is the Judeo-Christian God. God has given we humans certain unalienable rights that other humans and governments cannot take from us. The laws of God, including the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule of Jesus Christ are unchangeable moral laws that govern men and are the basis for all valid human laws. Our government was established to protect these rights that God has given to us.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Very Conservative
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
I have written more than 3,000 Conservative political commentaries over the past 15 years. Some appeared weekly in the early issues of Townhall.com. Most appeared daily online in the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, the editor of which named the column “Mr. Conservative.” Barry Goldwater Jr. later kindly gave his approval to my use of the name. I engaged in debates on Constitutional law, which appeared every other week in the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal for more than two years. http://bit.ly/1nY8hwQ

Additional comment from candidate:
If we Americans do not stand up at this time in history, we will one day need to answer to our Creator why we did not do more to preserve this great Experiment in Liberty, which is the United States of America. We must work together to restore our nation and our Constitution. We must return God to our schools and our universities, to our political institutions, and to our public square. The American people hunger for a spiritual renewal and a return to honor, integrity, courage, morality, and family values. We need to end the idea that government can pick the winners and losers. It is the God-given right of free men and women to choose their own destiny.
