Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
None, except when the life of the mother is at risk.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Stronger vetting, and limiting immigration from countries known to support radical Islamic terrorism.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
America's Founders were directed by God, to prevent government tyranny by one branch or another over the other branches of government and/or the people the government is supposed to be serving.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian. It was the best day of my life, in addition to the birth of my 2 daughters, that I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into my heart as my Lord and Savior. I attend an Assembly of God / Pentecostal based church on a regular basis.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I am Pro-Life, and believe that life begins at conception. I believe in fiscal responsibility. I believe that government should be limited and live within it's means financially. In terms of immigration, I am on the board of Directors for Oregonians for Immigration Reform and believe that if a person is going to be in our country, they need to be here legally.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Based on the Free market, and free market principles. I support Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and being able to buy health insurance across state lines.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Government should play a very limited role. Government should only get involved when there is a market failure.
What changes should be made to the tax code?
Tax reform that was recently signed into law was a good first step. I support making the individual tax cuts permanent. I also support additional reforms towards a flat tax system.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
I would sponsor and put forward legislation to reduce government regulations, so business can grow and hire more employees. As President Reagan once said, "the best social program is a job."
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
Social Security benefits should be based on and fully payable from the funds that a person puts into the fund. I would allow the individual contributing to their own Social Security benefits to have more control over how their benefits are invested thus allowing the individual to take more personal accountability and responsibility for their decisions and their money in their own Social Security benefits.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I am a troubleshooter and problem solver by trade and profession. I have been doing Information Technology and computer work for the past 18 years. I have the troubleshooter and problem solver mindset. Also, the Lord Jesus guides my heart in decision making, and goal setting in my daily life. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University.
