Strongly Agree

2. It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health care and a livable income.

Strongly Agree

Strongly Agree

5. The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) should be repealed by Congress.

13. People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

14. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

Tyranny and overreach of government into the God given freedoms and rights, that our constitutional republic was founded upon.

15. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.

1. The Affordable Care Act, a.k.a. ObamaCare a.k.a “MerkleyCare”: FULL REPEAL!: The government should not be involved in the health care decisions of Americans. An example of government injecting itself into our health care decisions is what Sarah Palin referred to as “Death Panels” also known as the IPAB Board. Health care decisions are between a doctor and a patient, that is it! 2. Education: Nowhere in the U.S. Constitution does it state anything about the government being involved in education, which is why, as the next U.S. Senator from Oregon, I will propose legislation to Eliminate Common Core, Close the U.S. Department of Education, and Return Education Decisions to the Local Level. 3. Immigration: Enforce Existing Laws; Secure the Borders; Work on Stopping Illegal Immigration; Say No to Amnesty.

16. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

No. Life begins at conception.

17. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Constitution, Voters, Supreme Court, Congress. The rest in the list are not applicable, as they have no authority.

18. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Pro – God: I Believe in Religious Freedom: Statement of Faith: I am a Christian, and I believe in God. I believe in Christ and the Bible. As you may know, most of America’s founding fathers publicly proclaimed their Christian faith. I am not shy about expressing my belief in God either. I was raised in a family that was Protestant Christian. In our country, political correctness has taken over. As Americans, we have been taught to “walk on eggshells” and be afraid of “offending” someone all in the name of political correctness. Our religious freedom is under attack by political correctness. Those that claim to have been bullied in the past, have become the bullies. In my opinion, political correctness will be the death of our great nation.
