16. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?
The nature of mankind though out history repeatedly tells of power in the wrong hands as detrimental and a threat to the well being of nations. Although capable of great goodness, mankind through history has shown dangerous shortcomings in struggles for power, domination and resources. Freedom is paramount in a country that ensures life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in America. Our Constitution makes clear our unalienable rights, gives power to the people and sovereignty for states.

19. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My beliefs and values are deeply rooted as a Christian and as a first generation American. Our freedoms are paramount as Christianity was the original foundation of this great country; founded "Under God". I am a first generation American, my parents were legal immigrants from the Ukraine and came here gratefully sponsored by a church. The church helped provide oversight, security and guidance for my then struggling parents until they mastered the English language and could live independently paying forward the kindness of the church. Through hard work, a frugal lifestyle and an unfaltering belief in God they called America "a glimpse of Heaven". I am mindful and grateful for opportunities we enjoy that others only dream of in the Ukraine; and elsewhere in the world. Today, the Ukraine continues to struggle for independence. We cannot take our freedom for granted. American remains free by God's Grace and our brave military and their sacrifices.
