19. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

A deeply rooted belief as a Christian, protecting Family and Country. Our Freedoms are paramount as Christianity was the foundation of this great country; founded "Under God". I am a first generation American. My parents were legal immigrants from the Ukraine and came to America sponsored by a Church. The Church helped to provide oversight, security and guidance for my then struggling parents with two small children. Three years later, I was their first child born in America. The church congregation named me Lydia. My parents did not seek government assistance because they fled a country where Socialism and Communism destroyed lives and enslaved its people. Instead, attending grade school at night to learn English, to work hard to provide for our family. They studied the history of this great country to become American citizens. We prayed, appreciated our rights to be free to navigate our future and that of our children and their children.
