OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

1. Free enterprise and the right to private property turn mankind's natural self interest into the fairest and most productive economic system there is, and is the key to national prosperity.

Strongly Agree

2. Government should enforce laws designed to protect the border and to prevent illegal entry of persons into the country.

Agree

3. Because evolution is widely accepted, students should not be taught about intelligent design.

Strongly Disagree

4. Free market competition for education dollars, rather than a government monopoly, would create a better education for all students.

Strongly Agree

5. It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health care and a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

6. States should require voters to show photo identification and prove citizenship in order to register to vote or to cast a vote.

8. Marriage is a union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

9. Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Agree

10. Pure democracy is the best form of government to ensure the safety and equitable treatment of all citizens.

11. Who has the primary responsibility to be sure children are properly educated?

ONLY parents have this responsibility!

12. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

LIFE of the mother, then it's her decision.

13. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God (authority over all), the Constitution (the law that governs government), the voter (the voters seat Congress who derive just powers from their consent), then comes Congress and finally the Supreme Court.

14. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

It is the nature of man to rule. Our founders constructed a system that effectively made it impossible for a single individual, or a even a majority, to assert their will over the people. The strength of our Constitution lies in conviction of the people to assert it.

15. Please list the six (6) most important endorsements (groups or individuals) of your current candidacy.

I'm on the ballot as an independent candidate, the model used by most groups favor the candidate they believe CAN win, as opposed to the one who SHOULD win. Although I'm the most constitutionally minded candidate, I've only garnered the endorsement of one organization; LibertyCandidates.com.

16. Please list your educational, military and vocational history, and any church and civic leadership positions held, and political positions held or sought.

I have no political, military, or educational pedigree, nor have I held any leadership positions in the past. I'm an average American who sees the heart of the conflict that is threatening our Constitution is electoral politics. Those holding office, as well as those running to replace them, are engaged in an exercise in fear. Electoral politics is supposed to be a free exchange of ideas. I think I have a way to fix the process, so I'm doing so. My chief objective is to "Change the way politics is done". I'm running for the US Senate because, constitutionally, that is where the problem is.

17. What charitable, educational, religious, or political organizations have you been affiliated with as a member, contributor, or volunteer.

For my whole life, I have helped those who have needed help. If someone asks me for assistance, and it's in my power to do so, I help them, unless helping them doesn't serve their best interest. I've never felt it was necessary to be a "member" to be involved. I've attended the same church for nearly 12 years, including involvement in some outreach. Yet I've never felt led to become a member. I've attended three congregations since God opened my eyes in 1989. I've been involved to the extent that time allowed. My reason for leaving each was only because I moved out of the area, but still I've never been a member of any. Until I started filling out surveys, "membership" has never been very important to me.
