According to the 2020 U.S. Census data, as many as 1 in 4 eligible Americans are not registered to vote, and other sources tell us that over 25 million Christians who are registered don't vote in presidential elections. Can you imagine what a difference we could make if we all registered and showed up at the polls?
As we encourage states and elected officials to do more to ensure election integrity, are we making sure that we've done our due diligence and performed the basic tasks needed to vote?
Here are 5 questions to ask ourselves and our loved ones:
-
Has my address changed?
-
Do I have any family members who will be turning 18 years old on or before Election Day?
-
Have voter registration requirements changed in my state?
-
Could I have been scrubbed from voter registration lists due to inactivity?
-
Could I have been scrubbed or suspended from voter registration lists due to clerical or postal errors?
I don't know anyone who could positively answer "no" to the last question, so it's a good idea to check your registration status.
We're making it as easy as possible! Just select your state in the list below to be taken to a page to check your voter registration status. Remember that some states have a deadline for registering up to 30 days before Election Day. Don’t put off until tomorrow what you could do today!
Take the Next Step: Help Others!
Now is also the perfect time to help others. Do you
remember the first person who encouraged you to vote? Or the person who helped you figure out how to register?
Why not be a blessing like that for someone else? A recent study shows a personal message from a friend
increases the likelihood of someone casting a vote. Make it easy by forwarding them this email or use some
of our resources to reach large groups at church or with other like-minded voters. We've prepared packages
of materials with everything you need to share on Facebook, X, Instagram, and at your church. Just pick the
design you like the best, and a zip file will begin to download with the materials you have chosen below!

One of our favorite quotes at iVoterGuide is from Bill Federer; it says, “The most important thing is to bring people to Christ. The second most important thing is to preserve the freedom to do the most important thing.
That is why we do our best to help every American cast an informed vote. And that is why we must pray for the Lord to stir the hearts of Christians to register and vote. We have an extraordinary opportunity not available to many believers around the world. Let’s make the most of it!
