The amazing message of Easter is the
miraculous power of God displayed through the death, burial, and
especially through the resurrection of Jesus. This is the foundation of our faith and not only signifies ultimate victory over death, but also reminds us of God’s faithfulness and the wonders He performs every day in our lives.
I’m reminded of the song “Too Good to Not Believe”
I’ve lived stories that have proved Your faithfulness
I’ve seen miracles my mind can’t comprehend
And there is beauty in what I can’t understand
Jesus, It’s You, Jesus, It’s You
As believers, we have witnessed God’s faithfulness firsthand, even in times when we couldn’t comprehend what was happening and in situations beyond our own control. We’ve all experienced the wonder-working God at work in our lives. Easter invites us to reflect on His faithfulness and acknowledge the Love He displays toward us.
The resurrection of Jesus stands throughout the ages as the ultimate miracle, demonstrating God’s power to overcome death itself. John 11:25-26 reminds us that Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
Easter is also a time of hope and renewal. Jesus’ resurrection not only brought Jesus back to life but brought eternal life to all who believe. That’s you and me! Through the resurrection, we have assurance that God is able to breathe new life into us and give us renewed purpose.
The Easter message of restoration applies to both individuals and to nations who have strayed from their founding values. The resurrection power of Christ is not limited to individual lives, but extends to communities, societies, and nations. Acts 4:12 declares, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
He alone has the power to revive nations, heal divisions, and restore righteousness. He is alive!
As you gather with your loved ones to celebrate Easter and the wonder-working power of God, let us be inspired by the resurrection of Jesus to embrace the miracles in our lives, trust in His unfailing love, and believe in the possibility of revival and restoration for ourselves and our nation.
