You may have noticed, iVoterGuide's website has an updated look!

I am excited to tell you we have redesigned our voter guide website to make it easier for voters to find and understand the information on their candidates . . . and vote wisely.  We still provide you with the same reliable candidate information, but now present it in a way that is easier to read and digest!

On our website you will continue to find helpful resources such as:

  • Issues: What the Bible and political parties say about key issues voters face today.
  • Articles: Challenging you to apply your Judeo-Christian values to voting and civics.
  • Election Coverage Map: Showing upcoming elections we will cover in your state.

The most important part of our website, of course, is your voter guide. Follow these steps to get the most out of iVoterGuide . . .

How to find your personalized voter guide:

  1. Enter your voting address (street name, city, state, and zip code) as it is listed on your voter registration card.
  2. Click "View My Voter Guide."

What your voter guide contains:

If your voter guide has not yet been released, the page will you let you know when the voter guide will be released and may show a list of candidates we are evaluating.  Don't worry, you'll be notified by email as soon as your voter guide is released!

If your voter guide has been released, you will see a list of candidates and their evaluations, organized by level of office (federal, statewide, state legislative, etc.).

After an election, you can use iVoterGuide to see the results! Our team stays up late on election night marking winners as soon as races are called. You can see those results by clicking any state on the home page.

Please remember that your voter guide does not contain every candidate on your ballot.  It only contains the races we are able to evaluate at this time.  Our goal is to expand our research and cover more candidates in the future as bandwidth and budget allows.

What each candidate profile contains:

Each candidate, when you choose "View Candidate Profile" underneath their photo, will display all the information we have gathered about them.  If you do not see our evaluation gauge and are not able to click on the candidates, it means we have not released their information yet.

Each candidate's information is organized into several categories:

  1. Political Ideology Evaluation—on a liberal to conservative scale
  2. Biography
  3. Scorecards of votes cast while in office
  4. Contributions—both TO and FROM the candidate
  5. Endorsements
  6. Questionnaire answers
  7. Other relevant information

I will explain each of these categories in greater detail in the future.  In the meantime, I invite you to check out our website and its resources . . . and don't forget to point others to iVoterGuide so they can make a difference as informed voters!
