What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
We must adopt an America First approach to terrorism. Strengthen law enforcement. Stop the "defund the police" movement. Expand border security. Isolate terrorists from financial, material, and logistical sources of support.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. C. Social Security. Congress should raise the retirement age, but also switch the indexing of initial benefits from wages to prices to slow growth, while also reforming disability insurance to encourage work. Medicare. Congress should increase premiums and cost-sharing while moving to a system of vouchers to encourage competition and cost control. Medicaid. Congress should convert federal aid to block grants in order to cut federal spending and encourage state innovation and cost reductions.

ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
This is not a great question for Attorneys Generals. However, we need to address the problem of jobs going overseas and create more working opportunities at home. We need comprehensive tax reform, either a flat tax or a single-rate national sales tax, which would spur economic growth, be fairer, and lower compliance costs. We DO NOT need 87,000 new IRS agents. A flat tax eliminates special preferences and penalties that lead individuals and businesses too often to make choices based on tax considerations rather than on economic benefits. Pass a balance budget amendment with a super majority vote required to raise taxes. Absent the plan above, the legislature needs to lower the tax rates, simplify the tax code, and reduced the tax brackets from 7 to 4. The marriage penalty, the death tax, and the Alternative Minimum Tax should be eliminated. Eliminate the dividend tax rate, lower or eliminate the individual capital gains tax rate, and eliminate the corporate income tax rate, whether the business is a small startup or a Fortune 500 company. This will disincentivize businesses from taking their jobs or assets overseas to get a lower tax rate, which means that more jobs would stay in the country, helping to improve the economy.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
This is not a great question for Attorneys Generals. Congress should cut food subsidies, farm subsidies, energy subsidies, housing subsidies, rural subsidies, development subsidies, K-12 subsidies, college subsidies, welfare subsidies, disaster subsidies, security subsidies, community subsidies, developer subsidies, water subsidies, grazing subsidies, unemployment subsidies, training subsidies, highway subsidies, transit subsidies, airport subsidies, rail subsidies, worker subsidies, foreign aid subsidies, business subsidies, flood subsidies, power subsidies, and much more. If the government is subsidizing everyone, then it is effectively subsidizing no one. We are shuffling trillions of dollars around and the largest net gainers are the high-paid middlemen and lobbyists in Washington.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Immigration should be allowed to reunite families, admit immigrants with skills valuable to the US economy, and protect refugees. With that in mind, the following principles must be followed. (1) We must respect the consent of the governed, that is the will of the people. Individuals who are not citizens do not have a right to American citizenship without the consent of the American people. That consent is expressed through the laws of the United States. Through those laws, we the people invite individuals from other countries, under certain conditions, to join us as residents and fellow citizens. (2) We cannot compromise national security and public safety. Every nation has the right, recognized by both international and domestic law, to secure its borders and ports of entry and control what and who is coming into its country. A disorganized and chaotic immigration system encourages people to go around the law and is a clear invitation to those who wish to take advantage of our openness to harm the nation. Secure borders, especially in a time of terrorist threat, are crucial to American national security. (3) Becoming a citizen means becoming an American. We must preserve patriotic assimilation. (4) Our lawmakers must respect the rule of law and immigration is no exception. Failure to enforce our immigration laws is unfair to those who obey the law and follow the rules to enter the country legally. Those who enter and remain in the country illegally should not be rewarded with legal status or other benefits. When politicians condone such behavior they only encourage further illegal conduct.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
Michigan currently suffers from the highest crime rate in decades and is now ranked #10 in sex trafficking. We have fentanyl and MS-13 gangs coming across our borders destroying families. Michigan suffers from a broken election system, the highest inflation and gas prices in decades, and businesses are leaving this state. Our government has enforced mandates and shutdown orders and weaponized the health care department against citizens and business owners. We have a failing education system that teaches critical race theory and my opponent wants to put a drag queen in every classroom. My opponent refuses to enforce the laws or prosecute violent criminals. She supports the "defund the police" movement and is currently investigating more police than any time in Michigan's history. She also supports partial birth abortions for any reason up to the date of delivery. She has been consistently reprimanded by courts for weaponizing her department against people of faith and for attacking her political opponents. Under my administration, we will end this nonsense. I will always support the police and local prosecutors. I will enforce the law and put criminals in prison. I will reduce the crime rate and end the fentanyl and sex trafficking trade in Michigan. I will fix our broken elections. I fully support the Second Amendment and will push for a constitutional carry bill. I will end the unconstitutional teaching of critical race theory to our children and never allow state agencies to force CRT on employees. I will support a Parental Rights Act. I will end all vaccine and mask mandates and will push our legislature to enact a Medical Freedom Act. These policies will reduce crime and create an environment in Michigan that will be attractive to businesses. Once again we will be a state that enforces the laws and protects the Constitution. We will be a beacon on freedom across the country. And I will always protect the life of the unborn.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
The election laws must be reformed. MCL 168.31a must be repealed. Absentee ballots approved only for special circumstance. Ban any election official from sending out absentee voter identification. Shorten the deadline for returning absentee ballots. Voter ID and registration required for in-person voter. Complete ban on ballot drop boxes. Allow poll watchers to take shifts at polling stations. Prohibit clerks from paying for postage on absentee ballot return envelopes. Eliminate electronic voting machines. If not, then require all clerks to administer their own public accuracy tests, publish the source code for public review and comment, and require any machine manufacturer to develop and build machines in the United States (without subsidiaries). Require all precincts to deliver their vote count to the county clerk and the county clerk to the state by 2:00 am following close of the polls. Eliminate major counting centers, such as TCF center. Enforce Const 1963, art 2, § 4(2), which is a self-executing provision that guarantees every citizen who votes the right to audit the state wide election. Require a state-wide audit after each election to ensure the accuracy and integrity of elections. Both the state and federal constitutions anchor the fundamental right of the people to govern themselves upon the prima facie assumption that the means by which they choose their representatives must be of ultimate purity and primary importance. If the right to vote is not protected, all other guarantees afforded by the Constitution are irrelevant because they are dependent upon the integrity of the franchise and the consecration of representative choice. The duty to protect this fundamental right must, of necessity, fall on the judiciary, for it is the only remaining barrier to degeneration of elections into mere contests of fraud rather than fair attribution of the will of the people to the designated representative of their sacred and sovereign choice. The nation cannot survive as a constitutional republic if the government allows the transfer and adjudication of thousands of "votes" by non-delegated, unaccountable officials (without legally required oversight), the acceptance and counting of illegitimate or ghost votes, or the rank absence of any semblance of operational integrity in the electronic systems used to process ballots and tabulate votes. If we allow manipulation of ballots during and after they are processed, then the government cannot guarantee the fundamental constitutional rights of our citizenry are protected.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
This is a terrible question. Of course racism and discrimination undermines communities. However, the continuous attempts by the media and Democratic party to interject racism and identity politics into every discussion is what actually undermines domestic security. The Biden and Whitmer administrations have demonstrated how easily national security authorities such as the FBI can be weaponized through racial, ethnic, and religious targeting of citizens. The Biden administration must overhauling the FBI’s investigative guidelines to constrain non-predicated investigations and to prohibit investigations in which the exercise of First Amendment rights or race, ethnicity, national origin, or religion is a substantial or motivating factor. Dana Nessel's continuous efforts to attack people's deeply held religious beliefs must end.
