QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Agree
I don't believe in federal aid to institutions such as this, but I am a strong proponent of the 10th amendment in that states should have the right to choose their own laws. State and local funding should be left up to the local legislatures and councils.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Disagree
I do not support laws that would allow the state to assist in ending a life on a federal level, but I believe these laws should ultimately be left up to the states to decide.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I am pro-life. As a legislator and candidate for Congress, I want to be cautious in injecting myself in the situation where a woman in crisis is having to make such a horrific decision. We must be bold enough to promote programs that would incentivize women to keep their babies while also recognizing there may be circumstances when abortion may be medically necessary if the mother's life is in danger. There is never a simple one-size-fits-all solution. I believe in the sanctity of life and in promoting whatever outcome maximizes human life. Ultimately, however, this should be left to the states and their respective legislatures.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
While there is a gap growing between the wealthy and the working class, redistribution of wealth is not the answer. The answer to allowing the working class to prosper is to reduce inflation, gas prices, and the cost of living by drastically reducing the amount of congressional spending bills, focusing on energy independence, and increasing employment opportunities by helping our small businesses recover.
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
I believe in not spending more than we make. National debt affects us all, and the American people cannot afford to allow our Congress to continue passing massive spending bills. Fiscal accountability is key in getting our country back to where it once was. I will tighten the purse string in Congress, much like our citizens have done in their homes. I will identify reckless spending and bridges to nowhere; and eliminate them.
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I believe the tax code should be simplified in order to not only close potential loopholes, but also allow the average American citizen to be able to easily understand and file their taxes. To many, the process has become convoluted and requires purchasing the services of third parties in order to ensure they file their taxes correctly. I believe this burden should not be put on the taxpayer, but rather on the government to simplify the process. After all, the government works for the people, not the other way around.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
Our First Amendment right to religious liberty is sacred, and should be protected at all costs. Mandates that restrict citizens from attending their places of worship and exercising this right are unconstitutional and set a dangerous precedent.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
Like all other tax-paying institutions, businesses should have the right to choose who their customers are.
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
While there should be a separation between church and state, it should be as the Founding Fathers intended it to be: a church free from the influence of the state. With this in mind, the state should protect the rights enshrined in our Constitution and not enforce laws that would inhibit congregants of any religious institution to exercise their First Amendment.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Legally, I do not believe the government or public school has a right to impede on the medical freedom of citizens. If a private school or employer chooses to do so, that would be their choice.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
We must be wary of China's ambitions and work on lessening our dependence on their foreign exports. The CCP poses a threat to our democracy and their goals are antithetical to those of the United States and our allies.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
It is clear that Islamic terrorism is a continuing possible threat. America must be proactive in its efforts to keep foreign wars and terrorism far from America's shores. This includes expanding intelligence, expanding military capabilities, cultivating assets, supporting our allies in these regions, and making sure we provide resources for those who believe in Western values.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Agree
We should make sure that our Southern Border is secure to disincentivize any bad actors, especially those who illegally enter our country with the intent of human trafficking, drug trafficking, and other illegal activities.
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Agree
We must make sure our citizenry is safe first and foremost, and that cannot happen if cities are willingly harboring those who did not enter our country legally. Immigration laws are necessary in allowing us to make sure people are coming here with the correct intentions.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
I support the current immigration laws that exist in regards to the United States, and support these laws being more heavily enforced. I do not believe in disallowing anyone wanting to migrate to the United States from doing so, as long as it is through the proper legal channels.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Neutral
I do not necessarily see the need in making certain groups protected classes under the law. Preexisting state and federal laws already protect anyone and everyone in our Republic. I will support any law as long as the law is applicable to every American citizen.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Though institutions in the past have been used to carry out racism, I do not believe any institution today is inherently or fundamentally racist. Therefore, I disagree with it not only as a concept, but also as a lens in which we should craft our curriculum.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian first and foremost. It is my Christian values that guide my general belief system and moral framework for how I believe our country should be run. We are currently at a crossroads and must choose to either protect these United States, which I believe to be God's gift to humanity and a shining beacon of liberty to the rest of the world, or allow it to be destroyed from within.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I believe voter identification laws are key in keeping our elections secure and protecting our democracy from being influenced by foreign countries hostile to our own.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
To keep our elections fair and free, I would propose or support laws to require proof of citizenship by photo identification, to make sure our elections are held in-person, and would support making election day a national holiday.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Disagree
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is a moral threat to the unity of our country, but should only be treated as a threat to our domestic security by the government if an individual or group intends on committing a violent or illegal act based on a racist ideology.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
I believe in utilizing fossil fuels to allow us to increase our energy independence while looking to legitimate renewable energy alternatives.
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. Though important, we cannot rely solely on the renewable resources that are currently available to us. I strongly support the use of both natural gas and oil and other renewable resources in order to ensure the future of American energy independence.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
When I get in office, my top priorities are restoring public safety, revitalizing our small businesses, and holding Congress fiscally accountable. On day one in Congress, I will introduce the Law Enforcement Community Standards Act (LECSA) which will hold cities, counties, and states accountable that defund their police. They will be exempt from federal loans, federal grants and federal programs. This will hold local elected leaders accountable for decimating law enforcement budgets as political stunts, and will be measured based on metrics such as crime statistics, response times, minimum staffing requirements, and community incentives and programs. In addition, I will also introduce the Prosecutor Responsibility and Detention Act (PRADA) which will hold prosecutors accountable for deviating from the minimum bail set by the state legislature, often allowing repeat offenders back in our communities. Finally, I will repair the damage done to small businesses in America. Small businesses are the lifeblood of our economy, and since January 2020, nearly 100,000 businesses have permanently closed. I will introduce my “Reapply and Retry” Bill, which will divert $900 million of unused American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds and give it back to small businesses decimated by the mandates.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
While mental health and community programs are important, our community cannot function if we do not have a police department that is supported by the local government. Public safety is key, and the results speak for themselves in cities that voted to "defund" or "reimagine" their police: crime rates are soaring. Drug use, property crime, and violent acts such as robberies and assaults are now commonplace. As a city councilmember and a deputy, I support a well-funded police force.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I am a strong proponent of the 2nd amendment, and believe the right to bear arms should not be infringed upon by the government. Placing restrictions on those who want to purchase and register a gun through the legal framework already set in place will only serve to hurt law-abiding citizens.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
