OTHER INFORMATION
QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Rape, incest, or if the mother's life is in danger.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
The Social Security trust fund will be insolvent soon. There are not enough people of the younger generations to fully fund this program for current retirees. The federal government will either need to make cuts in other programs to make sure the fund can pay benefits for future generations, increase the taxes that pay into the trust fund, or gradually close the fund and move people to 401k type plans.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
The Department of Education should be abolished and sole control of our education system should be returned to the states. The money saved here can be diverted to ensuring we have a balanced budget.
Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?
None - it is a choice to take out school loans. And taxpayers should never foot the bill for those who can't afford to repay the loans others took out. Many people in today's society work their way through school, go to trade schools, or seek professions that don't require a college degree or are a less expensive for of education. There are alternatives to taking out school loans.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
People can live according to their faith freely, without the government intruding.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I will work to end the ACA, allow people to purchase health insurance across state lines, reduce the cost of prescription drugs, and create a public option for people to purchase. I would create a bill so that any pre-existing condition will always be covered by insurance companies and covered by your insurance plan.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Those who are from state sponsors of terror - as declared by the Department of State, would need to go through an enhanced screening process by DHS or Department of State for clearance. If it is discovered that parties already in the U.S. have any ties to radical islam, they will be immediately deported. Congress should also pass a law stating that Sharia Law is illegal and no part of it will be implemented into our society.
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Any law abiding person should be allowed to immigrate and enter the U.S., except those who are from state sponsors of terror - as declared by the Department of State. Those families would need to go through an enhanced screening process by DHS or Department of State for clearance. Any person who was deported due to criminal activity should also not be allowed to reenter the U.S. This does not constitute a belief that we should have open borders. I don't agree with the concept of open borders.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian, was baptized in a protestant church, and believe that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I believe that my faith in Him and his forgiveness of my sins, guides me to live a life faithful to his teachings and will enable me to go to Heaven for eternity when I die.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I am fiscally conservative when it comes to taxes and federally spending, but more moderate on various social issues.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
The two party system is deeply flawed and we deserve more choice at the ballot box. My focus is simple - preserve the liberties and freedom bestowed upon us and ensure we live our lives free from government control. The status quo does not put your best interests at heart and has failed all of us.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Our Second Amendment right to bear arms should never be fringed upon. I will never support any legislation that will require law abiding citizens to join a national registry when purchasing a firearm. Nor will I support any legislation that will prohibit someone from purchasing an AR-15 or purchasing a firearm from a private citizen or gun show. There should also be no restrictions on ammunition purchases.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.
Strongly Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Strongly Agree
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
Term Limits Immigration Reform Healthcare
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism in itself is not a threat to domestic security. Peaceful protests and our freedom of speech should not be infringed on. It becomes a problem when lawless and racist groups like ANTIFA decide to destroy federal property, harm law enforcement officers, assault non-aggressive people, and destroy personal property. When towns are being destroyed and lawlessness takes over, then racist organizations such as ANTIFA become a threat to our domestic security.
