What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have served in the NC Senate for 10 years and was elected by the Senate as the Deputy President Pro Tempore in 2019. I also served as Mayor of the Town of Spruce Pine for three years prior to my election to the Senate. I am only qualified for the office by the trust the voters of the 47th district have put in me through their vote.
