Women should have the right to choose. The decision is between her and her doctor.

What is your position on the minimum wage?
I support raising it. Tennessee has no state minimum wage above the federal floor of $7.25 an hour, and that number hasn't moved in over fifteen years. It doesn't come close to covering rent in Rutherford County anymore, let alone groceries, gas

1. Data center accountability audits — Require independent audits of state incentives given to data centers to ensure taxpayer subsidies aren’t subsidizing unregulated water/energy use without return. 2. Sunset review for tax loopholes — Mandate periodic legislative review of corporate tax loopholes - if a loophole isn’t delivering promised jobs/investment, it expires automatically instead of running forever. 3. Stop creating laws that turn into lawsuits.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The state and the church are separate entities and the state must operate independently from the church. Our country was founded based o freedom of religion and if the church is directing the state, that is not freedom of religion.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

The business must clearly state who they will DO business with and who they will not. If they do not serve equally then they should not be eligible for state funding or tax relief.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
B. I think our taxes should be used to pay for our healthcare, but if you have the ability to pay for private healthcare you should be able to keep it.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Everyone in this country was undocumented if they had ancestors come to America from another country. The only true Americans are those that were here before Spain and England set foot here. I think there is a right way to come here and the immigration process needs to be refined.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Funding for vulnerable students is at risk. The Department administers Title I funding for low-income schools and IDEA funding for students with disabilities. Student loan servicing chaos. The Department oversees federal student loan programs. Shifting this abruptly to another agency risks disruption for millions of borrowers — processing delays, servicing errors, and confusion during repayment. Data and accountability loss. The Department collects national education data and enforces civil.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

As a friend of a parent with a transgender child (now adult), there is no such thing as a school transitioning a child in the middle of a school day. If parents are truly committed to the wellbeing of their child they will have many conversations with their doctor, mental health professionals before such a big step of transition.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Not everyone has photo identification. Not everyone has a drivers license or passport. If you want to ensure photo identification and the person doesn't have it then take a picture for your voter id card.

I don't think they should be given solely on race.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

1. Background checks on all gun sales, to ensure dangerous individuals can’t buy a gun with no questions asked. Red Flag laws, which give families or law enforcement a way to temporarily remove guns when they pose a serious threat to themselves or others. 2. Laws encouraging or requiring secure storage of firearms to protect children and adults by preventing unintentional shootings, gun suicides, and gun theft. 3. Require gun owners to be insured, like car insurance.
