QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I believe every human life has inherent dignity and deserves legal protection from conception until natural death. The value of a person’s life does not depend on age, ability, health, independence, economic circumstances, or whether that life is considered convenient by others. Being pro-life means protecting unborn children and supporting mothers facing difficult or unexpected pregnancies. It also means strengthening families, improving access to prenatal and maternal healthcare.

What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?

A school should respond to a student facing an unexpected or crisis pregnancy with compassion, dignity, and practical support—never shame, coercion, or political advocacy. The school’s first responsibility is to protect the student’s safety and help her remain engaged in her education. Appropriate support may include counseling, reasonable academic accommodations, protection from bullying, and connections to qualified healthcare providers and community organizations that offer prenatal care, parenting assistance, adoption information, and other life-affirming resources. Parents should be involved whenever legally possible, because schools should not replace families in making profound medical and personal decisions.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

I disagree. Government cannot guarantee everyone a particular income without continually taking resources from those who earn them and expanding government dependency. Government’s proper role is to protect individual rights, maintain public safety, provide essential services, and create the conditions in which people can succeed through education, work, entrepreneurship, and personal responsibility. A compassionate society should maintain a responsible safety net for temporary emergencies.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

The Ten Commandments should be displayed in public school buildings or court houses.

Strongly Agree

I support displaying the Ten Commandments in public schools and courthouses in a manner consistent with constitutional requirements. They are not only a sacred religious text but also an important part of the moral and historical foundation of Western law and American civic life. Principles such as respecting life, honoring parents, rejecting theft, and bearing truthful witness helped shape our understanding of justice and personal responsibility.

At school, students should be able to speak freely and civilly about matters of conscience and faith, including Christianity.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree. Students do not surrender their constitutional rights when they enter a public school. They should be free to speak civilly about matters of faith and conscience, including Christianity, without being silenced, penalized, or treated differently because of their beliefs.Schools must apply their rules fairly and without favoring or disfavoring any religious viewpoint. Christian students should have the same opportunity as other students to express their beliefs in classrooms.

NATIONAL SECURITY

I support boycott, divestment, and/or sanctions (BDS) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I oppose efforts to boycott, divest from, or sanction Israel. Palestinian leaders have previously declined or failed to accept major Israeli and American-backed proposals that would have established a Palestinian state, including negotiations led by President Bill Clinton in 2000 and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s proposal in 2008. Palestinian statehood requires more than placing demands on Israel. It requires Palestinian leadership willing to recognize Israel’s right to exist.

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

I agree. Peace is most likely to endure when America possesses the military strength, readiness, and resolve to deter aggression before war begins. Our adversaries must understand that the United States can and will defend its citizens, its territory, and its vital national interests. A strong military requires more than increased spending. It requires disciplined leadership, modern equipment, secure supply chains, clear objectives, and genuine support for the men and women who serve.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and returning control of education to states, local communities, and parents. Education is primarily a state and local responsibility, yet taxpayers currently fund multiple layers of federal, state, intermediate, and local administration before resources ever reach a classroom. Every additional layer creates more bureaucracy, reporting requirements, administrative positions, compliance costs, and opportunities for taxpayer dollars to lost.

I support taxpayer funding of public education from Pre-K through college.

Neutral

I support taxpayer funding for a strong K–12 public education system, but I do not support an unlimited government guarantee of free education from preschool through college. The state’s first obligation is to ensure that every child can read, write, perform mathematics, and graduate prepared for employment, skilled training, military service, or higher education. Michigan should meet that fundamental responsibility before creating additional universal programs that taxpayers must fund.

Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.

Strongly Disagree

I disagree. Schools should not provide abortion or gender-transition advocacy or services through organizations such as Planned Parenthood. Sensitive medical decisions belong with parents and qualified healthcare professionals—not school personnel or outside political organizations. Schools should focus on education while respecting parental rights and student privacy.

Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): American History, Art & Music, Civics, Critical Race Theory, Foreign Language, Gender Identity, Information Technology, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Political Activism, Science, Sexuality, Social Emotional Learning, Vocational Learning

Language Arts Mathematics Science American History Civics Vocational Learning Personal Finances Information Technology Physical Fitness Art & Music Foreign Language Sexuality—limited to age-appropriate health education with transparency and parental control

Which should students have: equity of outcomes or equality of opportunities?

Students should have equality of opportunity. Every child deserves access to safe schools, effective teachers, rigorous instruction, and appropriate support. Schools cannot guarantee identical outcomes because students differ in abilities, interests, effort, and goals. We should remove unfair barriers while maintaining high standards and rewarding achievement.

VALUES

Children have the right to be protected from sexual grooming including drag shows, explicit materials in schools and libraries, and other public venues.

Strongly Agree

Children deserve protection from sexual exploitation, grooming, and age-inappropriate explicit content in schools, libraries, and public venues, including sexually explicit drag performances. These safeguards should apply consistently, regardless of viewpoint. Parents deserve transparency and must retain primary authority over their children’s exposure to sensitive sexual content.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I believe marriage is a God-ordained, sacred union of one man and one woman. Government did not create marriage and cannot redefine its religious meaning. While civil law recognizes other unions, government must protect the freedom of individuals and religious institutions to profess, teach, and live according to this belief.

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree. Parents have the fundamental right and responsibility to direct their children’s education, healthcare, and moral upbringing. Government and schools must respect that authority, provide full transparency, and seek parental consent before consequential decisions, intervening only when necessary to protect a child from abuse or neglect.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I was raised Catholic, received the sacraments, and was confirmed in the Church. I continue to attend Mass weekly. My faith teaches me that every person is created by God and possesses inherent dignity. It calls me to protect life, honor family, serve others, seek truth, show compassion, and remain accountable to principles greater than myself.

If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development

Age-appropriate sexual health education should focus on abstinence, consent, human anatomy and the reproductive system, puberty, prevention of sexually transmitted infections, physical and emotional health outcomes, and stages of pregnancy and fetal development. Instruction should be medically accurate, transparent to parents, and subject to parental consent or opt-out protections.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I disagree. Identification is routinely required to drive, begin employment, obtain financing, open accounts, or enter secure facilities. Voting is equally consequential. Requiring photo identification helps confirm that each ballot is cast by an eligible voter, provided government makes suitable identification readily available to every qualified citizen.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

I agree. Women’s sports and intimate spaces exist to protect fairness, privacy, safety, and equal opportunity for females. Eligibility and access should be based on biological sex in athletics, bathrooms, locker rooms, shelters, sororities, and correctional facilities, while providing appropriate accommodations that preserve every person’s dignity and security.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

strongly conservative—fiscally conservative, socially conservative, pro-life, pro-parental rights, supportive of religious liberty, limited government, a strong national defense, and traditional American civic values.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Restrictions should target individuals proven dangerous—not law-abiding citizens. Firearm possession should remain prohibited for violent felons and people judicially determined, with due process, to pose a serious danger. Government should rigorously enforce existing laws against violent crime, illegal trafficking, and straw purchasing while protecting the constitutional right to self-defense.
